This scene if full of anger, sadness, afterthoughts and conflicting feelings. It's a beautiful and sad scene at the same time.. it's not easy when someone asks you first and you said no..
I know some people liked brenda but I loved kelly. I loved dylan with her. For me it was like they just fit. Ya sure, she could get annoying at times but still, they were meant to be. =]
Dylan is so right! He did ask her first. He always loved Kelly more than anyone. She was right there to mess it up if and when Dylan tried to move on. They just couldn't get past each other... they were true soul mates in a real and painful way.
@@meimahsonii8360 Soulmate doesn't exactly mean marriage. It's a bond and connection between two people that's hard to explain. Yes, some get married happily ever after. But people two stay friends and always help and save each other through whatever problems they face. It could get extremely toxic and hurt many people around them but at the end of the day those to come out on top. Some can go as far as CHEATING OTHER on their partners and others and keep as close friends.
@@meimahsonii8360 you are absolutely right. It was only melodrama, only And always melodrama… words and no courage... she did absolutely nothing for him... never.. always words and dogma... connection ...soulmates And bla bla bla… They had nothing special… She was the only one left, that’s all...there was much more connection with valerie, Brenda And Gina… a written history is made of courage, of actions.. to survive DK Nerd ed the tension with third persona (Brenda, Brandon, Matt, Gina) alone They are nothing.
Yasss!!! Dylan and Kelly are truly soulmates...you can tell he truly loves Kelly even when he was with Toni. In this scene you can feel and see the pain in both of their eyes. And the anger and the sadness and love...And it was bittersweet for Dylan since he found a great love of his life (Toni) and lost a great love of his life (Kelly) and you can just see how much he still loves her by the way he touched the door after she left and walked out like he still wanted and needed her there with him and implying that he has two soulmates which is her and Toni. I don't see how people say he only cared about Brenda but I don't recall him ever saying that she was his soulmate or the love of his life. When it comes to those titles he's either talking about Toni or Kelly. Remember him saying he only connected with two things in his life and he said one of them is dead (Toni) and when asked where's the other, he said she's sitting right across from me..(Kelly) He had a deep love for both in his own and different ways.
You're so right! Brenda was puppy love, it wasn't meant to last. I love the last shot here with him touching the door and physically trying to close the door on him and Kelly.. it was just never going to happen. They are my true OTP of this series and they never really let go of each other even when they were with other people.
The only part I didn't like is that when Dylan told Kelly that he asked her first, she didn't point out to him that he had only proposed a trip around the world, not marriage. I always got the impression that if Dylan would have proposed marriage to her the same way Brandon did, Kelly would have said yes to Dylan.
@@meimahsonii8360 no he had proposed her the trip and he would have asked her to marry him after...but she refused the trip with him...she didn't know otherwise she would have said yes ... she didn't know
kelly was surprised when Dylan talked about marriage in reality Dylan was going to ask Kelly to marry him if she had gone with him on a trip in season 5...she made a big mistake not to go with him...
Oh GMAB! The season before this Dylan had to watch as Kelly dated, had a serious relationship with & moved on with his best friend Brandon of all people. That was all up in his face. Kelly is a hypocrite. And like he said...he asked her first. But self centered Kelly chose herself...she had other plans. She turned him down. And now when he moves on & finds someone else, she wants to bitch & moan. Yeah she's selfish
brenda was selfish too, she kept breaking up wi9th Dylan then as soon as he moved on she wanted him back especially when he got with Kelly, she couldn't take losing Dylan to kelly and always tried to get Dylan back but it wasn't to be
Jeeez nothing like support from good old Kelly, making everything about HER as per usual. Who the hell is she to storm out and demand answers?? He’s moved on, just like Kelly did when Colin moved into her bed. Her self righteous attitude throughout 90210 is pretty sick when you watch these flash backs.
Color me shocked...NOT! That Kelly once again tried to make things all about herself. Her and Dylan's so-called relationship was trifling and toxic. Which is why he ended up going to Paris to be with Brenda months later because he knew she would be there for him no questions asked. And which is why when the show was rebooted and Brenda guest starred on it, they made sure to show how she and Dylan were still in touch and he and Kelly were not. Dylan also had the best chemistry with Brenda hands down. It also amused me how they tried to make Kelly the "IT" girl after Brenda was gone.
I loved that part, "You chose You"
The look on Kelly's face was priceless.
Her face is also priceless when he returns season 9
Kelly didn’t know Dylan’s trip around the world offer was actually a marriage proposal.
@@AaronSaltzerexactly!

omg seriously I love them soo much I can't even contain myself about how amazing they are :) I LLOOOOOOVVVEEEE them

Robert Johnson Kelly didn’t love Brandon like she loves Dylan
Robert Johnson Brandon was a safer choice, what woman in the right mine wouldn’t have chosen him but Dylan was Kelly soul that’s the difference
No they are not a soulmates
He even says everyone except Kelly and Brandon seems so far as someone he once in high school
Favorite couple!

Their relationships was not toxic lol. They had arguments but they weren’t abusive towards each other. That was Ray and donna
