    Hi Ryan,
    I just like to chime in here to point out that those who rely on expletives to convey their point generally lack the intelligence to engage in a constructive debate.
    You and all of your videos are amazing. When I started watching just over a year ago I could strum open chords and power chords. With the help of your videos I am now managing barre chords and picking melodies. What the person obviously didn't realise is that you construct your tutorials with people like me in mind so that they can grow confidence from managing to play the songs that they love.
    My requests - Weezer - Only in Dreams.
    And from the world's best band -Sleight of Hand
    And keep doing it your way!!

      Thank you for taking the time to write that Chris, that really means a lot :) I think that's at least two for only in dreams! and yes sleight of hand simply must come soon!

    Would you teach Lounge Act by Nirvana in the John Frusciante's way? It's such an incredible cover! Great lesson btw

    One baby to another says, "I'm lucky to have met you"
    I don't care what you think unless it is about me
    It is now my duty to completely drain you
    I travel through a tube and end up in your infection
    Chew your meat for you
    Pass it back and forth
    In a passionate kiss
    From my mouth to yours
    I like you
    With eyes so dilated, I've become your pupil
    You taught me everything without a poison apple
    The water is so yellow, I'm a healthy student
    Indebted and so grateful, vacuum out the fluids
    Chew your meat for you
    Pass it back and forth
    In a passionate kiss
    From my mouth to yours
    I like you
    You, you, you
    You, you, you
    One baby to another says, "I'm lucky to have met you"
    I don't care what you think unless it is about me
    It is now my duty to completely drain you
    I travel through a tube and end up in your infection
    Chew your meat for you
    Pass it back and forth
    In a passionate kiss
    From my mouth to yours
    Sloppy lips to lips
    You're my vitamins
    I like you

    help im stupid why did he have to go to drop d. i know the songs tuned a whole step down but i dont understand how drop d rectifies that

    • @RyanLendt
      @RyanLendt  4 роки тому

      because we can play all the power chords without having to tune all the strings down

    • @haydenpowers8640
      @haydenpowers8640 4 роки тому

      oohh i get it now. the drop d power chords accomplish the exact same notes as he played by tuning it down. gotcha, idk why that took me so long to understand lol. thanks

    Great way to address foul-mouthed individuals, you are an inspiration 🙌 Great lesson as always! I was wondering, how comfortable are you at playing the piano, Ryan? I'm hearing some beautiful piano parts on Times of Trouble by Temple of the Dog, and would LOVE to learn how to play it 😍 I know the guitar is pretty much exactly the same as PJ's Footsteps (although I hear some slight variations in the pre-chorus thingy, if I'm not mistaken?) which you've already done a lesson for, but the piano stuff just adds an extra layer of beauty in my opinion.
    Enjoy your day, Ryan 👌

    • @RyanLendt
      @RyanLendt  6 років тому +2

      well thanks Rasmus! I can play songs on the piano about as well as someone who knows all their open chords and can strum on the guitar... I can certainly put together something that sounds darn good and hits all those little melodies with the right hand as well, but it won't be 100% accurate... which might actually be a pretty perfect way to approach this. Thanks for asking that would be a fun little change for a video :)

    • @Slogmann
      @Slogmann 6 років тому

      Sounds like that would match my own not-too-advanced-but-also-not-a-complete-beginner level on the piano pretty well. I will be looking forward to see and hear what you come up with 🎶🙌
