Professor Clemmons - ASMR Test Subject Session 2 [binaural - true 3D sound]

- Опубліковано 15 бер 2013
- Recent footage reveals Professor Clemmons conducting yet another experiment with his assistant / wife Margaret on an unknown test subject. The Professor continues his research into ASMR and its link with the Cthulhu mythos that he was engaged in with his former colleagues prior to his expulsion at Miskatonic University. In this particular video he explores the sounds and aural minutiae of plastic, cloth, water, tapping, whispering and more, including his most prized possession. The Professor's current whereabouts are unknown.
Please note: Audio was recorded with in-ear binaural microphones to capture a true 3D sound.

"Yisss proféseerrrrrrrrr"
• His wife only calls him by "Professor"
• He experiments on unwilling subjects.
• No one knows where he currently is.
• Wants to know its connection to the Old Ones.
• Margret speaks to him in an odd language in a comforting way after the Professor mentions the Old Ones.
• The professor seems possibly controlled by Margret (or the Old Ones) at points.
• He seems to ground himself at points by saying his name, explaining why when he goes mad he repeats it.
• This will help "Reawaken" most likely the Old Ones.
• He shakes and chants with madness. They have awoken.
Perhaps.
•
Madi_Sc damn, thats some lore, I know this was posted 1 year ago but noice. Also, I think that Margaret is a split personality that has basically gone mad and taken over by the old ones.
It seems that now I'm not just watching for the ASMR, but for the plot as well.
I think he should wright a book, or produce a movie explaining his whole twisted universe
I love these older Professor Clemmons videos so much. I think its that static background noise. That constant hum. Very hypnotic.
Perhaps
Ephemeral Rift
Perhaps?

This almost has to be coincidence, how the images line up, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's not

oh wow...you just blew my fuckin mind.
Crimson Kefka bwahahahaha omg it looks like one picture that was cut in half XD
@@robf1557 maybe the next one will just be of his pants lmao
@@iapples38 that'd be sweet
These videos are amazing, and I love the subtle dark nuances. It's creepy and yet relaxing and tingly.
Your Mr Clemmons series of videos is what brought my initial interest in your channel. Now I've watched almost every video you've uploaded and all I can say is, again, you have created something that is not only interesting to follow as a story, but is also another outstanding ASMR art piece. Some people may describe it as something else, but to me, this is beyond just a tingle video, it is as engaging as it is relaxing, not many ASMRtists can do what you are doing and again, thank you so much.
Still holds.
Am I the only one who thinks he's talking to himself? And that Margret is a split personality of the Professor?
Hope Jones, I've also had that thought. Especially with his most recent videos;mentioning Margaret's garden and such. I believe they are the same.
Late but I think it is supposed to go either way, theories give more fuel to the Rift because he can make videos where in one Rift is is all P. Clemmons and another Rift where his wife is still alive and well.
Hehe, then he's married to himself, nice
How am I supposed to sleep when the content is too damn good to miss??
I came for tingles, but ended up dropping acid with satan :(
I always come back for the cutting mat.
I'll have to dig that out again...
LoneWolfGaming what are you talking about
Ephemeral Rift Would you like- *small laugh* would you like- *licks lips* would you like to see my cutting mat? *throws head in a circle*
+Sans I like you
Oh my god... I told my friend about how whispers and things by my ears give me tingles(I didn't know it was actually a THING), but this video litterally, by 1:45 I was tingling so back I was shaking. I never knew ASMR was actually a thing, I thought I was always just... weird..
That moment when you discover that this phenomenon has a name, and, not only that, but an entire international community of people like you, with countless videos made by such creative, compassionate ASMRists to explore and exploit sound and image for pure pleasure-*that* moment is quite special.
darkprose It is special. It really is, it felt like a weight lifted off my shoulders that I wasn't weird, I was just as different as everyone else. ^^
Kon eko Most definitely. If ASMR is weird, who wants to be normal? :-)
Wow, I had exactly the same sort of experience, not with this video, but when I found out this was, like, a real thing people experience it cleared up sooooo much confusion for me, I thought it was something strange that I just ought to not talk about
James Mason Exactly! Yes that's what it felt like!
50 shades of Prof. Clemmons
I got into ASMR a few years ago and since then, ER has become one of my favorite channels. I literally just realized that this is the video that first triggered my ASMR, I just so happened by it just now. Big fan, you got me hooked and have kept me hooked, keep doing what you're doing!
This.
This was the first ASMR video I ever watched!
Still my go to artist when I need to relax or sleep!
This video is how I found and subbed your channel. I really enjoy videos with Prof. Clemmons, I return to them often. I think there's something with the cadence of your voice and mannerisms as Clemmons that triggers me. Plus familiar terms and vibes from my favorite H.P stories. It's really fantastic! I love all of your other videos too, I'd like to add. I just can't help but pay Clemmons a visit each week!
Be well!

One of my favourite videos by you. Always keeps me coming back to it :)
E.R, You're the first ASMRtist I have ever listened to, and three years later your are still my ultimate favorite. I love all your characters and how you incorporate Lovecraft lore. Your role plays are phenomenal, unlike anyone else's; I get so in to them and they just trigger my ASMR even more.
Keep up the good work, I love it all. ♡
Make more of these! I find them relaxing, yet in a different way from other ASMR uploads. They are so unique. The creepy bits and psychedelic details are perfect. Very trippy!
I just can't believe he's been doing asmr work from 2013
I have been waiting for this forever. Thank you ER
Daaamn that is a good setup! Best I've heard in a really long time! Ah when you first leaned over and creepishly whispered into my left ear and I could feel it! Haven't felt a real tingle in months, this really did it. Thanks.
This is awesome. Thank you for all the hard work that must go into making these videos!!
I've been waiting forever for this. you're a genius.
Beautiful video. Wonderfully tingle inducing and fantastically carried out. You are quite the actor.
I've only recently begun to check out ASMR videos but I have to admit this whole Prof. Clemmons storyline thing you have here is quite remarkable, with the same quality ASMR as any other one shot video makers. Bravo sir, I actually made a point to subscribe...I hardly ever do that.
I love this series! These are the ones that I practically wait for out of all of them.
I'm not saying that your others are bad, but these are my favorite due to how heavily they give me tingles and the mystery behind characters within.
I couldn't wait for the second installment! thanks E.R!
When you do the Cthulhu clicking it just makes me shiver.
Keep this up, i usually get bored of an ASMR fast, but i can't stop coming back to this
It's these kinds of videos that really make you standout among the ASMR crowd and what keeps me coming back.
Gotta be one of my most favorite ASMR videos. It feels so much more inclusive for the listener.
Amazing work as usual ER!
You should really be recording this as an actual pilot. I would buy a whole series of this. I can't wait to see how far you go with this. It's just more and more interesting every episode!!
Oh my god, i've waited for it !:D Thank you so much !
This is by FAR the most tingle producing of any video I have ever watched..... When you used that box i nearly went crosseyed 0_O lol
Margaret's "yisssss professssssorrrrr" is something i felt spiritually and love so much
Your fan base is now huge! Congrats! !
Poor Margaret is cranky for not being allowed to do her own experiments last time...
I'm really enjoying your recent binaural videos- Especially interested to see (but mostly hear) where the story of Professor Clemmons goes next.
Also, I know this pops up in the top comment of almost all of your videos, but the amount of effort you put into these is staggering, and very much appreciated.
Congratulations, EphemeralRift on your 153. video without ever sneezing!
This was just so well done ... The storyline is very interesting
You have possibly the best male voice for asmr ever. Like I seriously started getting tingles as soon as you started speaking.
Best and most creative ASMR channel!!
you should do a video with the light thing
Sweet, that was pretty epic dude. Not to mention I am actually listening to your apple whisper video for the first time. It's freaking BA.
I am beyond impressed, The choice of thumbnails for the two sessions being a continuation was subtle and nice. If we're going for a full Clemens shot, I'm guessing that there will be one or two more videos of the ASMR tests?
This is quickly becoming my favorite series of yours. I really enjoy the Cthulhu Mythos connection especially because I would listen to the audio books before I went to sleep as a child. Thank you and your wife. I read that she was wearing the mics for this video and it made me curious as to whether she experienced ASMR?
Been using these sessions to help me sleep for over two weeks now and it works!
This is brilliant, thank you for doing this !
the clicking sounds were cool, the use of the echo and the kaleidoscopic filters was awesome, and as in the last video, my favorite part is when you stand behind the camera and crinkle something (like the gloves or the bubblewrap from Session1:exper. 1).
In the first video i wasn't sure if there was "too much tapping" on the clipboard...but watching the cutting mat video put this char. into perspective, and seeing u tone it down here, I say bring it back.
you are so creative! I love these videos.
Yay! Professor Clemmons is back! I enjoyed this one as much as the first (which is saying a lot).
Also in a somewhat unrelated (and possibly creepy) side note, you have lovely hands. :)
Awesome mix of ASMR effects with other visual tricks. Really effective. Highly disquieting, but really good.
Crazy tingles every time you whisper close to the mic! I wish somebody would do an asmr study to see how it affects the nervous system over the long term. Can't imagine it would lead to anything bad tho lol
I found this video very relaxing. it definitely caused me to fall asleep. Good work!!!
Such a creative way to generate the tingles for those of us who are lucky enough to experience ASMR! Much obliged!
I love the sound echo reminds me of waves. You never fail to give me asmr. Gold star for the day :)
great for the ASMR, but also just for the concept and acting - love the semi-creepiness of it - the slow pen click is like the cherry on top of your brilliant Professor Clemmons character :) (plus I'm a Lovecraft fan, so there's that)
SOOO many tingles, thank you so much Paul!
I'm pretty sure I'm not the first guy to notice this, but in the first video it shows the top half of the Professor, and on this part it shows the middle half of the body in the thumbnail.
I haven't seen anyone do something like that before. I'm impressed, and I can't wait to see more!
Can't wait for session 3!
i really really enjoyed looking into that flashlight for so e reason ! I loved it!
That clicking noise you do in these videos= amazing tingles.... please tell me there will be more prof. Clemmons soon
I love the way you tap that board. It is an amazing tingle :)
Stereo makes all the difference!!! Amazing and hypnotic... Came to you through Gizmag... Quite fascinating. Thanks!
No prob, this is the most entertaining asmr ive watched. Its like watching a twisted relaxing black and white walking dead episode!
I usually am more euphorically drowsy, and very calm, than tingley, but damn does this video tingle me all over.
tingly*
What I like most about you is that do you not only relax me but make me reconsider my opinions :) I like looking at things in a different way. You just blow my mind.
love prof. Clemmons. Very creepy, atmospheric and immersive! Please do another, big fan
Fantastic ear-to-ear. loved it.
Love these vids, Professor :)
I like what you did with the thumbnails.
Can't wait :) U have the best asmr channel on YT I think :) and I rememer like yesterday I was listen to one of your ASMR & beer and it was 2:00 a.m. and foam sound and bubbles make me think : Damn it I have to drink one :D and it was the best night beer in the world. Greetings from Poland !!!
The sound is so good.
Wow. This actually triggered my asmr when you leaned in, just before it started echoing. Normally i use ASMR for relaxation. Anyway thanks paul :3
This was some of the most believable spacial audio I've ever heard... freaked me out when I first started to listen.
thank you for maing these amazing! videos your the only reason i can get some sleep at night.
Bravo EphemeralRift! You are perfect... as always :) But to be honest some moments are scary ;)
Yes Professor I have heard of the Old Ones.
Oooo. Love the effects in this one for sure. It's so bizarre that I am crazy productive at work with this streaming into my earbuds. Creepy, sexy, soothing.
I only managed to get 45 seconds in before I was laughing as if it was the funniest thing I've ever heard. No idea why, but I had to stop and catch my breath. Might try again later when I'm more prepared.
I love the distance of the voices, and their smallness (rather than quietness).
It's amazing how this simulated experience is incredibly relaxing. However if I were actually in this situation It would be anything but relaxing.
I don't understand how it is that you creep me out and relax me in equal measure all at the same time. Are you a wizard?
Definitely weird, but in an awesomely relaxing way. Keep up the good work
Love the crazy parts with echoes. Love it all~
I would love to hear the Professor read from the Necromonicon in a future upload. I think it would fit nicely with the Cthulu mythos theme you have.
Now that's what i call a very intersesting idea sir
You are the best asmr guy ever
A)Great asmr video.
B)Awesome acting, i loved it!!
C)You would be an excellent game master in any kind of role playing game XD
I appreciate you replying to comments. I honestly do enjoy your videos, and this one was very well done. I was not even considering how you would have to move around so much; switching back and forth between voices would put a strain on you. I apologize if I offended you in any way. Your wife is a trooper. You voice Margaret to show how crazy Clemmons actually is..."her" voice should be annoying. Kudos! Maybe put in a clue in the next one to show that it is the Professor voicing Margaret.
Your work is really great! Gives me ASMR like no other. Like, bone chilling not at all relaxing. It's a real rush!
They are ASMR videos, the whispering and the noises can cause a tingling sensation in some people, similar to the feeling of getting a massage. Other people don't get that sensation but still find ASMR videos relaxing to help them unwind or go to sleep.
EphemeralRift has a unique style of ASMR videos, he performs improv roleplays as different characters to set a specific tone for each video and to make things interesting.
Still better than 1 as a whole though, liked the insanity aspect coming to the fore, good job ER :)
Pretty cool bordering on the avant garde, he's just being a whole lot more creative then the rest, this whacky professor concept even topples ASMRequests interplanetary travel role play, ASMR = infinity.
I am usually not fond of male voices when it comes to ASMR, but yours is really making me relaxed :)
I'd love to have an asmr history of the old ones from you.
really enjoyed this
I miss this Professor Clemmons. The odd vocal mannerisms, that extra enjoyable & constant background *humming* static noise that equally numbs the mind and alights it with alien imagery... Ah, good times. Good, tingly times.
you commented basically the same thing 2 months before this one and i agree with both. was sorta hoping he would do a video with prof clemmons when he shaved his hair
Best video ever made
