So is that a WS6 ? Don't they all come with headlights that we'll flip up ? Screaming the 1980 called and it's time ! Dated as it gets . Yes I own and drive a WS6 as well .
Go look up the Chris 1313 pro stock. It's not a bolting application though. You will have to cut your radiator support and a few other things to make it work.
Same light flipped upside down. Not really a high beam but since it's on at the same time as a headlight, it still is doubling your output and shining upwards. I don't use it because the lights themselves are bright enough, especially with my fog lights on. But I built it for others that do want it.
Something else to consider - If you live in a state that does safety inspections this likely won't fly. The lights have to be marked 'DOT' on the lens to be legal and have both low and high beams. Any tech or mechanic worth their weight in salt will catch it and fail the vehicle. You may have to find a safety inspector who will look past the unauthorized alteration, but that usually comes with a price.
Where did you get the marker lights from???? The ones that normally would be orange on the front. Also it looks like you got LEDs for the lights under the rear view mirror >.>. Where in the world did you get those? i can't find out what bulb fits in there.
I modified the stock housing. Cut off the lens, put LED ribbon around the perimeter, made a new lens from acrylic. The map lights on the inside are 212-2 (LEDs = 44mm rigid loop festoon) I looked up f-body lamp list.
High beams? I never should've sold my 1989 triple black TA with the special ordered 5.7 (it's not the GTA model). I want to get a 2002 WS6 so bad. Very nice!!! 🏁🏁🏁🏁
I know people have upgraded to LED lights on the 93-97 Camaro. I'm not sure if these would fit well in there, but there are aftermarket lights that will fit perfectly in that generation Camaro. I would just search for them on eBay
@@jrandsr5158 Sorry, I ment no offense. It does look cool. I grew up watching and listening to Cheech and Chong, but I do not use. My 2nd fav car was a 02 WS6 with a Firehawk hood.
I know I’m gonna catch a lotta flack for this, esp since I own a car with pop up headlights, but I always thought the sleepy eye mod was gay because it ruins the aerodynamics. Visually it looks cool, but to me, performance always takes precedence over appearance.
How you figure? Is the headlights only popping up a third of the way and are now level the ground versus popping up all the way and are now like a brick wall. I would assume that the sleepy eye is more a dynamic. I actually would race with my headlights down if I was in a race at night. Using fog lights only. Now I don't have to worry about it as much because they're not 10 inches in the air acting as an air dam.
@@jrandsr5158 okay, vs all the way up? Yes, you’d be correct. but I’m used to seeing the mod mostly on old 240SX’s from the drift crowd, and the light stays in the sleepy eye position even when the lights are not on. which would be less aerodynamic than fully closed, which is what I meant. if your sleepy eye mod fully closes when not lit? Then that’s cooler. but another drawback to the sleepy eye (again, from the 240 crowd) is that the road is not lit up as well as a regular fully up light.
No my headlights are fully functional like stock. Lights turn on when the headlight pops up. One click down and the lights turn off but the headlight stays up. All the way off and the headlight drops with lights off. I don't drive around in the daytime with the lights up 😂... Unless I'm entering a car meet and that's just to show the mod. I can't leave them up when the car is off because all of the parking lights will still be on.
Best looking muscle car of all time in my opinion. 👍
Looks better than I had imagined!
I love sleepy eyes! I have the knightdrives on my c5
Looks pretty cool. also looks like a huge upgrade as far as visibility. Good job, man.
Thank you. It really is a huge upgrade. Visually and functionally.
Wow ,… looks great!! 😮
Been looking for something like this for a while. This is Amazing.
I like! Reminds me to go and fix one of my headlights that's intermittent to pop up.
Make sure you specify it’s a Ws6 so all the peasants know what they’re looking at 😂 sweet mod man
😂😂
You know he said it like.five times..

How does the high beam work? are you using a different light/bulb?

Good point. Luckily I don't have that issue here in California.
Can I just order all the hardware? Stops, mounting brackets, nuts, bolts, ect……….? I already have lights. Need order information

I do have high beams now too.
Bad ass ram air bro
Can i do this on the camaro too?

My guy is that an F1x tucked in there?
Haha I wish. It's N/A. That's a Chris 1313 prostock intake.
Where did you get your stoppers?
I 3D printed them.
Looks way better
Would you make and sell the 3D printed stops?
Yeah, I could do that. Shoot me a message on Instagram. Devouru_ws6
This is fucking sick. Really need to get a 3D printer so I can do this to my bird
I've sold a few sets of the stoppers already. Let me know if you're interested in buying a pair.
@@jrandsr5158 im imtrested
👌
Please lower the head on your band saw, made me pucker just watching that part.
Haha yeah for sure. I usually do. I think I was just rushing it was just plastic.
Looks more stoned than sleepy.
Guess it depends on your perspective.. and judging by your profile picture....

Right on brother. I'm just giving you a hard time. I didn't come up with the name. It's just what they call it on the Corvettes.
I don't drive mine at night
Cool mod though
The thumbnail looks like the car had a stroke.
