@@JosePena-ku7hp I made this myself, on my own, with the stems from the video game Rock Band (or Guitar Hero). I just found them and then downloaded them from UA-cam. It was as easy that. Search for " Joh Ph ". Stems are similar to master tracks from the recording studio. The guitar solos are not new. They are backwards, in reverse. " Hacia atrás "

Yep. Aside from the solos being edited, this is a complete remix though I A/B'd the original CD album to get and keep the levels as original as possible, but there was only so much I could do with the lossy stems. I believe Walk is the most different sounding edit here, because the stems do not sound like the rest of the songs' stems which was weird.

@@yessirshakejunt Nothing personal. The RTS "stems" are still unavailable so what you see on my channel is what is able to be remixed in any respect. I would've done all their tunes if it were possible.
The bass guitar wasn't touched, just like almost everything else besides the solos. The sound was levelled out to be as close to the CD as possible. I think I got a good set of ears to do good music justice.

So all the tracks are remixed? Phil’s tracks sound eq’d differently and I’m hearing a lot of reverb. Thanks for the reversed solos. Suddenly I have a whole new wealth of dime licks to learn. Hell, I can claim them as my own. Who would ever know? Lol
Unfortunately it is a remix. I had to take out subtle things because I couldn't make them work like the original album, but thankfully it all feels the same and I've forgotten the specific things I've done at this point.
If it weren't a remix I wouldn't have been able to edit the solos. Notice how the solos go with the key changes just like they do originally? It makes it more interesting and musical.
The Walk mix is the most different, each song came with their own set of "stems" from the Rock Band game. They always sound more flat and when combined they sound raw, but the timbre is the same (e.g. Dimebag's guitar still grates your ears off with the same distorted tone). You can edit them individually or make each song as different as you want overall. Actually I just reclaimed and salvaged my Rust In Peace backward solos edit.

@@CircleofShit Yeah I had to make it slightly different because everybody has already heard the album before, plus I've always wanted to do something interesting with it.
There are some live show edits such as in New Level, Phil did it the same way as I edited it. That's what I want for.
If you go to the Trendkill reversed solo version War Nerve is almost completely different. I made it more like the live show style they performed it in. Much less effects and tricks, sometimes a stripped down song is refreshing. Hell I still listen to it because it has an even heavier vibe, more to the point - like a live gig!

this is probably remastered.and given the fact that on this record is a perfect balance between screaming and singing.
I'm pretty sure I mixed this close to the original record, I did that with The Great Southern Trendkill, but not 100% sure on this one. I didn't mix the bass as loud as the "enhanced bass" videos though, I know and remember that much.
But also these come from video game stems, I think Rock Band. The timbre is not 100% like the original. They're more dry and raw, less equalised. Less equalisation = more clear sound "overall" and that is when the mix is as perfectly balanced as possible.
So yes, I agree Phil sounds better in some parts on this version. I made this myself.

Without the individual stem tracks that is impossible to do. So far only the Vulgar and Trendkill albums are available, and a couple songs from Far Beyond. I've done those too and they're on this channel.

En lo personal es lo que me gusto lo sonoro y diferente y genial de los solos de damage ... 👍🏼

Every key change is intact but also reversed. Makes it more musical, trippy, and kind of original from the studio.
Panteras best in my opinion followed closely by their next album far beyond driven.Most all people will take sides as to which one is best but im on the vulgar side(every song on it is brutal perfection)whereas driven had 2r3 songs that were just ok with the rest being perfection.

the title track actually does have a bassline. You can look up tab for it, and very faintly hear it (Gotta have an ear for bass though). The other tracks i'm not so sure.

Took me a while to realize, you didn't reverse them completely, did you? You split them parts and reversed the individual ones to make it sound more coherent.
Yes, they're split up in key changes and then flipped subsection of a solo is flipped per "chord". If there was no key change during a solo, then the entire solo was flipped backwards. That way sounds painful, so what you hear in the video is the best way to hear a backwards solo. It's musical and of substance.
People tell me they're learning these on their instrument and you can only be happy about that.

So, how do you get away with sharing this without getting copyright infringement dings?
I don't monetise and of course the ability is stripped once it says I'm infringing anyway. Sometimes I have to dispute it and it sometimes gets unblocked, sometimes I get lucky and it just stays up forever like with the Deep Purple videos. I think that's because it's profitable for "them" because people still buy the music if they watched the video. Copyright is a racket and it sometimes works and doesn't work in their favour. They can't ever blanket all copyright claims because then people will be going to jail for "pirating" VHS and Betamax tapes in 2020. If it was really illegal it would be something like that, oh and they wouldn't be doing much investigation at all either. It'll be "suspected of copyright? Jail. Caught red handed? Jail".
On a couple Megadeth videos they absolutely will not unblock them and also on one Slayer video but they still exist on my channel. Only I can view them though, sadly. A lot of people miss them because they used to be up for the public to view them. I still get comments on other videos regarding anything people remember seeing before they were blocked by the almighty UA-cam gavel.

I was just curious because I used to *try* to share song 'covers' by my imaginary 'band', "thE bEans", which were just the original artists tracks sped up, slowed down, hacked to bits, in a different key, double tracked with octaves with some parts reversed and I got dinged every time in spite of not being monetized. :D I think 'they' just don't like me, lol. Oh well, I have moved onto better things anyway. I spent too much of my life making music and not making money. :p Take care!!

That was the last time I made money doing/playing music. It was more fun playing than playing to be paid. Playing around with music and sound on the computer is fun. I've been doing that for 15 years and taught myself everything.

If somebody bangs a beat/rhythm on a table and it happens to be caught in a video should they get dinged for sounding like a tribe's song in an undeveloped country, whether in the mountains or the jungle? And these people are never given credit in the first place, should it 100% have to be like that?
I like your idea though. Sound collaging and recycling million times heard melodies, etc. and reinventing ways to hear them. I like coming up with news to hear music.
Can you believe that when hip hop came around the first time, pre-recorded music was never ever looped into its own separate kind of music? Like what Grandmaster Flash did.
Also with the increasing popularity of mp3 files in the early 2000s, people never heard music in a continuous interrupted order while at the same time being able for the first time in history of technology and music to change albums and bands without even touching the playback components used to produce the sound.
That was never at all possible in the LP and cassette era. (All this applying to music played at home). The CD was the same thing, just held more music and it wasn't until around 1999 that CD burners began global popularity, then at the same time learning what an MP3 is in order to make a 75 min "mix tape" way bigger than cassette.
My dad said in the 1970s the record store owner would dub a couple songs from an LP onto cassette for customers and charge them a very low price for it. They also did "mix tapes", bear in mind this was in the middle east. I had no idea people did that as far back as then.
I mean, it's crazy to think that I can make a 24 hour playlist of songs from every genre and part of the world to listen to in "shuffle mode" HAHA. I remember the days when only repeat and maybe randomise (press it once and it changes the current track to a random track and then the playback is still in normal order after that).
the solos aren't reversed, the sounds are distorted and altered also these solos use the same pattern sequence as it normally would.
