- Qatar is reassessing its role as a mediator between Israel and Hamas, the country's prime minister has said.
Qatar has had a key role - along with Egypt and the US - in trying to secure a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas and the release of hostages.
But Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani said Doha had been exploited and abused and was being undermined by those trying to score political points.
He also said the current peace talks were in a "delicate phase".

They rarely even mention hostages, and fail to mention any of the motivations for why Israel would even attack Hamas. Any mediator needs to understand how international aid from well intended western nations has been systematically hijacked by Hamas to fund their terrorist effort. Of most concern is how western aid organizations want to jump right back into the same trap set for them decades ago, which will cause another Oct 7 style attack in a few years. You'll get nowhere until you understand how you are part of the problem.
