@@mazzonimosaics8222 Try using a heat gun, it will soften the glue on them and they should remove easily taking any residue with them. That's what I do with anything that's adhered down with glue and I want to remove it.:)
I made my first rose following your gift for auntie video. Mine isn't as beautiful ly crafted as yours, but it's a start, but I will continue to practice cutting until it looks closer to yours. Also, your color combinations are fabulous.
The wine glass base is good but I think I like the previous ones that you made as friend gift better. The roses are exquisite esp the white ones which have the winter frosty vibe due to the blue hues 😍😍😍😍 I too plan to make roses soon but I m still into ceramic tiles - soon will graduate to using glass ones thanks to inspiration from you and other mosaic artists on UA-cam 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Thanks and I agree- I like the other ones better! I think it’s the giant round beads that are throwing it off. Too bad, since I bought several strands just for wine glasses!
Oh no! Keep practicing. I made these after the fountain flowers that took much more effort, but gave me lots of practice! Here's one of the fountain roses going in: ua-cam.com/video/uplqc1cFiKg/v-deo.html
@@mazzonimosaics8222 I have seen your fountain and it is one of the most beautiful mosaic things I have ever seen . I have shown it to my husband and everyone I know. I am a loyal subscriber I love everything you make!
Hi, I’ve subscribed to your channel & started watching from the beginning. I love your work. But I was wondering if you have ever tried a masking medium? You paint it on the areas you want to mask off. It might be better than taping.
Lovely pieces! Can you wash the entire wine glass after it is used or should you only get the goblet part of the glass wet? I wasn’t sure how the adhesive you used to secure the beads in place holds up to water.
Hello I watch all your videos and I love them. I would like to know what material is slate coasters since I don't know what it is, or if you know what they call it in other countries I would appreciate it. Saludos desde Argentina
Everythink you touches turns into beauty. Thank you for the pleasure you give to our eyes.
You are too kind! Thank you.
Enjoyed the video and the music. Drinking my coffee and picking up more ideas. Love how you put colors together. 😊

Sounds like a good idea! I’ve used it for painting but never tried it for masking grout. I think it might be more expensive overall than tape.
The wine glasses can obviously been hand washed, but not suitable for dishwasher? I am assuming! 💕
Yes. I’ve been hand washing. I think it’s best to be careful since there are beads. I’m not sure 🤔 how they would do in the dishwasher!

You can wash the entire thing, but by hand for best results. The Apoxie Sculpt is waterproof.
@@mazzonimosaics8222 thank you so much for getting back to me. I think this would be a fun gift idea!

Slate is a type of metamorphic rock. Here it is purchased in round pieces used to hold a drinking glass.

Thanks for watching! 🌹🌹🌹
Could something like these be used for coasters if they were sealed ?
Yes. I don't think you need to seal them since they are sold as coasters. Maybe upgrade to a waterproof grout and you are good to go.
What adhesive did you use on the slate?
GE II Silicone.
