It's so strange how far these kids went, my daughter was very good friends with them. Cedric used to call the house. Every time they were in Houston, they dedicated a song to Crystal. Stayed the night at my ex-husbands house.

Acrobatic tenament shows how important the jim cedric dynamic is to this band. It exposes itself again durng the el gran orgo break and return into in casino and then when it happened again with interalia. Jims back ground voice gives something extra. It makes cedric more important because he was there.

YES. I can't possibly agree more with this and you've articulated how I feel better than I did to myself after decades fandom. It's their dynamic, how Jim's vocals give an extra umph of emotion towards the vocal tracks that is my favorite part of ATDI. I think it's part of why while I do definitely enjoy Sparta and MV (for different reasons, though I lean more towards the punk sound of Sparta) I've never been able to like either as much as ATDI.

    umm
no one seems to even care about paul or tony and even sometimes jim.
seriously,if people werent so shallow and looked away from the afros and thought of ATDI as a band and not just cedric and omar , they would have mentioned paul (cuz well , he hasnt changed a bit)

As much as I love ATDI, now that I really think about it, them reuniting wouldn't be the same. People would expect them to be like they were 10 years ago, and expect their performances in these videos. Here you can see passion, heart and dedication...if we would go to their shows now, you would see them preforming for the money, not for the music. I rather let them stay as legends of Rock and enjoy their fruits like Defacto and TMV.

HOLY SHIT!!! THEIR SO FUCKIN YOUNG!!!you can tell they're really ATDI cause towards the end you see the lead gutarist (Omar) playing left handed... how often would you expect to see a left handed lead playing ATDI just like ADTI!

I don't think the will ever reunite. It wouldn't be the same if they did...they would try to be too technical I think.
