Thank you to all the home owners for inviting us in for a peek. As I was watching each one describe how they picked out quirky little or big items I was suddenly so aware of how can we honestly explain what and why something catches our eye that so many have passed over? It is a truly a mystery and testimony of how each one of us is so special, so unique and " junk to one is another man's treasure" Here's to the treasure hunter......
I was an interior designer in Newport Beach & Irvine for 25 years and I have to say I love every single thing about this apartment. I’m obsessed with the ceiling. You’ve done a beautiful job.❤
Such a beautiful little place, girly sophisticated! I love that you remember your grandmother in every possible way in decorating your space! Very sweet I hope my granddaughter thinks of me like that when I’m gone 🥰🥰
Small spaces can be great. I loved the Newport Beach home, the Charleston home and the New York studio. I am an adult Barbie doll collector. I also build my own Barbie Dream Houses. I watch Homeworthy and get sooooo many ideas for decorating my Barbie Dream Houses, which make the houses OOAK and sooooooo unique. Sara Horton has a beautiful Newport Beach home and I love her bedroom. I love the outside eating area also. with the Charlston home my favorite was the living room. It reminds me of a design between a library and a living space. Very original with lots of antique pieces in it. I love the fireplace. I like how her chair swivels. Love it!!! It's funny as I had never seen antique ash trays. Original. With Stephen S' apartment I love how he has sooo many "spaces" to store things. That comes in really handy when you have a small space. He also designed his apartment beautifully. His diningroom is beautiful. I love the BIG table. Thanks for sharing your beautiful homes.
Sometimes I'll look at the kids sections of toy magazines like Montgom Wards, cuz they have the Barbie stuff!! Like cars, planes, vans, homes and all! So fun to see the cute stuff! I got rooked as a kid hehe 😅🎉!! ❤
I started collecting Barbie dolls as an adult, four years ago. The fun thing is being creative with them. That is the same thing I loved as a kid. I style them, repaint and reroot or cut bangs for example. To build homes with inspiration from channels like this seems fun. I just style my own home but think about building for dolls, if I have the energy in the future.
I enjoyed this video with three different spaces. The Charleston was probably my favorite. I guess that’s more my style. Cozy and collected. Small spaces are my thing. More of these videos of small spaces would be great.
Love the first Coastal apartment. Has so much character. The outdoor dining area was so beautiful with gorgeous views. Personally I would live there on the deck. Came away with some ideas. ❤ Thanks! So the last apartment was uniquely designed. A lot of attention to detail and especially lighting. Love the bathroom door that still allows natural light in. Love those sconces, SS counter with built-ins as well. ❤
Loved a small space that was maximallist rather than minimalist. The key to how 'true' her apartment felt, was that it was so - most pieces were collected because she had a vision but also so much was connected to family, memories, travel and real life.
This was lovely to watch. I love how passionate everyone is about their designs, it's making me want to finish what I started 5 years ago. I really liked the NY apartment, so airy.
I look forward to HomeWorthy featuring TINY spaces. Of course it would probably only appeal to those of us who pay exorbitantly high prices to live in what amounts to shoeboxes.
For those who dream of having a deep soaker tub in their space, a portable bathtub from Amazon is a great option if you have the space. They are nice and deep. I'm a bath girl myself and take long soaks in my clawfoot tub often, so I completely understand the value of having the option of taking a nice bubble bath😌🛀
Small spaces are great. The third apartment is a very, very clever use of space but there is way too much brown for me -- I would need more color -- but the way the space is organized is terrific! Thanks, Homeworthy.
I enjoyed the explanation by the owners regarding the space itself & the items that they love so much. 3 very different homes, while none of them are my style I appreciate them all.
Beach studio is beautiful! The outside space is amazing. I think I would like to see some color in living room. Maybe incorporate some color in the curtains?
If you have a small space and you prepare food in the salon space, then it would be a mistake to use a lot of textiles in the interior. Even with a good hood, you will not be able to avoid the spread of food odors and they will be absorbed into your textiles.
I would love to use hutch base as a island w/a quartz topper n bar stool -separate the kitchen from living space ❤️ For prep Use another piece under hutch top for bar area
😂😂 it is not French empire chandeliers: it is art deco and one of a kind, particularly nice. As for the vaisselier, it is also not French empire (😂😂😂) but rather french countryside inspired style. She had absolutely no clue what empire style is apparently…. And why willing to put this “french touch” everywhere ? We do have beautiful styles in the US too. (I am a French/American)
@@4everseeking361 don t mislead people on the “French” style, to appear at the top of decoration and fashion. It is deeply dishonest and completely false
Alison, just one thing. In the New York apartment when he was showing the beautiful kitchen and wall of cabinets, I couldn’t get my eyes off of the open toilet. Very distracting. Just remind your camera person to keep an eye out for things like that. I’m kind of a stickler for the lid down. It’s not a thing that most men pay attention to and I had to train my husband but he’s good at it now.
Thanks for another great video! I really appreciated the segment of the NYC apartment, a good solution of maximizing a space without sacrificing functionality. Oh, and the painting at the dining table is not "a collection of objects", it's called a "still life". (If it had included a human skull, it's called a "memento mori") ...a bit of useless trivia I guess... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Super cute spot, but I had to stop watching around the 7 minute mark - just too much talking for me and the video moved too slow. I would have loved to see more in less time.

I wish Homeworthy had a channel dedicated to homes under 1000 square feet! I love content like this.
At least Homeworthy is bringing small space that we are accustomed too

The first space was lush and girly. I loved the breezy relaxed energy. I also love smaller spaces this episode was a treat
I know, I do too! I always skip the mansions, the decoration doesn’t interest me at all
I LOVE her beach home! I won’t change a thing! Everything is stylish, cozy, and beautiful!

The Charleston one is classy, cozy and just gorgeous!

I love the last house. It's actually the first time I've not only liked it but also thought I could live there.
Love the beach apt. especially her vintage finds.
Wonderful ideas! I just downsize and needed inspiration to re arrange
My furniture.❤
The New York apartment was my favorite. It is a clever design, beautifully decorated, plus the storage is wonderful! I enjoyed the owner, too.
It must be a dream living duo cities Manhattan/Charleston.

Would love to know where the bedding is from in the First Ladies space.

Beautiful but lots of pillow to move when going to bed plus outdoors moving stuff if it is going to rain.

I want that wicker coffee table from the beach apartment!!! I am sure it’s vintage. Can’t seem to find anything like it

Chuckling at the first woman’s exclamation of “a ton of books.” Obviously not a reader. That said, she’s really transformed that place wonderfully.
GORGEOUS

Love love the brown French style IKEA mirror above your white dresser. What’s the name of it please.
Sarah should look into tiny bathtubs that fit into shower spaces, e.g. those made by the Albion Bath Company. Some of them are beautifully designed.

Not sure you know the meaning of the word small.
I say that all the time on these videos, some of what they describe as small is average house size in ireland, nit this particular one though.
@@ess9078 Yes! I live in a one bedroom apartment in San Francisco. I can teach them what small actually means! 🤣 Although my apartment costs as much as a suburban house, let me tell you.
Compared to many houses these are small. Not tiny - different category
Compared to other spaces, these are considered small spaces.
Lolll
Its pretty uncomfortable watching the video with an advertisement covering it. I gave up.
If you were watching it on phone then tap the three little dots and then dismiss and it will disappear. But yeah, I can't stand such a thing too.
