MPDeity Probs lots of the Fortnite streamers who were steaming it (ninja etc )!went back to Fortnite because Fortnite offers a lot of money and then the fan base left aswell . But as u can see from the chart apex is growing atm and improving

I usually blame EA out of principle. But Tencent went all out on Fortnite to update it beyond Apex and signed a lot of contracts to get streamers on exclusivity deals.
Plus, Fortnite being a less hardware intensive F2P game with cartoony style and highly available on PC and on consoles means a perfect casual game. Apex isn't so well optimized and looks like a less casual game without the artstyle and build mechanics of Fortnite.

Ok jokes aside its still on the top ten, thats like a lot. And the playerbase it kept is insanely high as well.
I think people really like to bring it down because of what people expected it to be compared to what it ended up being. It ended up being a great game. But people wanted something that surpassed the most popular game in the last three years or so.

@@miro6402 Hard no, as a dedicated league fan myself, I can tell you that riot is a sellout, even selling their entire game to fucking tencent and expecting fans to cocksuck their products like with eternals and not expect backlash.
Also having a horrible track record with punishing player behaviour and lack of concern for the casual audience, it certainly isn't the "best game in the world"
Oh look, it's one "that kind" of fans, the ones that whine about riot punishing system and just end up showing how toxic they are.
I, for one, am amazed by how league is getting traction again, a 10 year old game. There isn't a single game that has survived that long with a steady player base.
@@AnOtterGamer I am amazed at that too, playing league with my friends have made some experiences that a lot of other games have failed to replicate and the animation, art, sound design team is always consistently stellar at what they do.
The amount of fidelity put into the making of a new league champ is especially immense nowadays and the animations on a new champ like say Sylas are absolutely gorgeous.
When it comes to league still gaining traction as a 10 year old game I am also happy about that as it is the only other game besides perhaps tf2 or dota to be such a timeless classic which would warrant such a dedicated playerbase showing that there is a reason why league is a widely played game.
I simply believe league is NOT the best game on earth and has genuine problems on its own such that it would also warrant its past most popular player dunkey, to quit the game just completely out of random
@@pesky2119 I don't think much people would say it's literally the best game, but it may be the game that has given the most fun thanks to it's replayability. I finished my favorite game ever in 16 hours (32 when I played it again and 100%ed it), I fucking love that game, and I believe it's the best game ever, but I have played league a lot more than 16 hours, so that's where league's value resides.
Now if you want to mention dunkey, he got banned, cried about it, and left the game, not much to say about it nor really important nowadays.

To be fair I think Overwatch did pretty well, spent most of the video around 5-8th place and only dropped from the list because there are too many games right now, views are not that bad, i stopped playing Overwatch myself 2 years ago, but the game overall was relevant and kinda successful imo, also with announcement of Overwatch 2, it makes sense game is slowly dying, revival soon
