    Great review. This is a great amp that I find to be comparable to the Austrian Audio Full Score One amp, for speed, clarity and transient. It does not have wide soundstage compared to Luxman P750U but neither does the Full Score One. It has gain switch option which the Full Score One does not and while both are dead silent, no hiss with iem and sensitive headphone, the Euphony in low gain enables more volume range from 7-11 o'clock. For the Full Score One, it is only 7-9oclock volume before it gets too loud. I picked mine from the Kickstarter and consider it a bargain at around 1300USD. Great pairing with Austrian Audio Composer headphone.

    I too use a headphone amp for more "pleasurable" headphones listening from the Chord TT2. I use the behemoth Cayin HA-300 amp. with the TT2. It has two 300b tubes.

    Fosi usually offer good value. Good for a third set-up.
    Here there is no balanced connections and no remote control.
    Nice review, thanks.

    I don’t understand why brands want to jump into the high end without proving themselves in the mid-range. My advice to manufacturers would be to make a really great $500 product and then I’ll consider upgrading when you come out with a TOTL model.

    You said $2K for that amp? Well they using thru PCB resistors? No wonder it cost 2K. In profesional equipment you are using SMD cpmponents not only for the lower cost of assebly (pict and place) also for better electromagnetic characteristics.

    No... it's an op amp amplifier... after owning Burson amps, I'll never buy an op amp amplifier again. It just sounds too digital.

    • @Currawong
      @Currawong  6 днів тому +6

      An amplifier can't sound "digital", and it would have nothing to do with opamps as such, so I reckon something else is going on in your system that gives you that impression.

      Really to digital😂...99.99999999% of all music since 80s is recorded digitally. So get out from that hole, remove that tin hat and face the music.

      @@Currawong Apparently you haven't listened to the original burson soloist or the original burson 3XGT.

    Most people do not realize how powerful 800 mW of Class A power is in comparison to 800 mW of class D power.
    When it comes to driving speakers . 🔊 there’s a big difference.
    But a person who measures using measuring devices like meters will argue 800 Millie wants is 800 mW. There’s no difference the meter says they’re the same..
    But you definitely hear a difference with your human ear. You can feel it you can hear it..
