Castle Rock near Canaan Heights, West Virginia

This rock formation is about 1-mile from Bearden Knob that is near an area known as Canaan Heights. The Fall leaf colors were nearing their peak at 3,760 feet above sea level. You can see the town of Davis, West Virginia in the distance. The geology in this area is very interesting as you can find beds of sand in these rocks.
