This is a sugarcane train line, the sugarcane train was abandoned for many reasons.
One of the factors is because the sugarcane fields around the line have been removed (farmers plant other crops), and also because the sugarcane fields are accessible to trucks.
Because using a sugarcane train, the maintenance costs of the sugarcane train, track maintenance, locomotive fuel costs, engineer salaries, locomotive workshop workers' salaries, track maintenance workers' salaries, and others are borne by the sugar mill.
