A financial crime, DF. He illegally paid the hush money and then declared the money was used for a legal purpose in the campaign, which it was not.
Wrong. Illegally paid hush money? Not illegal to pay someone not to say bad things about you. Cohen actually made the payments and claimed he was never reimbursed. Did you miss the witness testimony? Any payments made to Cohen were from Trumps personal account and weren't itemized. Had nothing to do with election funds or the campaign. As witness's testified this is not uncommon practice. Even Arnold Schwarzenegger did it among many others.
