- Tornadoes and other extreme weather killed at least 19 people in four states over the weekend. It's been a busy start to the tornado season. Last month there were more than 300 confirmed tornadoes across the U.S., the second most for any April on record.

Correct! there's another video taken from the same place as the tornado hit. Several people were literally standing by the front door/counter area when it hit. The woman in the video is literally gripped in fear and freezes. I believe she and her people mad it out alright, but they never got to the bathrooms.

I legitimately feel like it's thanks to streamers like Ryan Hall, MesoMatt, and MaxVelocity as well as meteorologists in news rooms that are responsible for getting word out more widespread now. Back when it was only TV stations to get news on and sometimes your phone, something like this weekend could have been monumentially more dangerous. Also a HUGE shout out to Hugo you legend! I'm glad that someone knew exactly what to do in order to save everyone's lives. I was watching Ryan Hall's stream live when I believe it was Bryce Shelton(storm chaser) rolled up to this very gas station after it was hit and we couldn't figure out what building that was due to how demolished it had gotten.
Ryan Hall has a bit of humor to his feed. He always mentions that the tornado is coming towards a cemetery for some bizarre reason. I’m like dude the people are already sheltered permanently 6 feet under and are dead ! Ryan Hall also seems to always mention Walmart and Dollar General stores and schools, and I’m like dude it’s midnight and there’s nobody at these locations!😂
I credit Ryan Hall and his team for possibly saving many lives. He called that tornado long before the NWS and was so precise. His calling out of landmarks and road names proved invaluable, as I heard that and called relatives on one of the roads he called out. They were asleep, and the NWS hadn't sent the warning yet. I'm thankful for those guys!
@@jaydee975 he does that because the locals know where these places are and it helps them visualize exactly where the tornado is/where it's headed. He doesn't do it for humor lmaoo

@@nachomom-fk2bi Did you even read my comment before you replied? "as well as meteorologists in news rooms that are responsible for getting word out more widespread now". Besides that, some of these storms weren't even being actively covered by weather stations with exception to NWS when they blew up. There was a few local channels here in North Texas that were watching, but primarily most of the information was coming from the storm chasers on the ground, as well as the guy's and gals streaming coverage and getting the word out. Ryan for instance had almost 300k people watching his stream Saturday night during the Valley View and Claremore tornado's, and by proxy those same people watching were able to contact emergency services, relatives, ect. Just being able to spread the word and get the information out like that is a big help to keeping people safe, so don't dismiss people doing that either. I mean hell one of the most prominent storm chasers, Reed Timmer, works with Ryan Hall all the time on storm coverage.

The reporter said there were over 300 tornadoes across the country this season, but it was actuslly over 800 so far nog counting this weekend. There over 300 in April which was a record so I was a little confused by his wording mentioning April in there since we are now a month later in late May.
At the end, the reporter says 300 tornados so far this season, and that's the second most for the month of April. Yesterday, I heard another report stating 400 tornados so far this season with only 2 days in the month of May not having any reported tornados
I have heard the actual total for the year so far not counting this weekend was over 800!!! That is twice the average for this time of year.

I read cloud seeding's purpose is to get it to rain where it doesn't however many say it is done for the purpose of causing flooding and tornadoes? How is that done etc.

The people that claim that cloud seeding or NEXRAD or HAARP of any of the other conspiracy theories are either part of some con or they are clueless themselves. These folks never, ever explain what they mean or put it in context. That's a sure sign that it's BS whether they know it or not!

Not 300 tornados this season smfh, 300 in APRIL ALONE.. we've had many more since. We are seeing more active seasons this past decade or so, this trend will only continue. If you dont have a shelter, please learn where the closest public shelters are.

I was watching Ryan Halls livestream last night as well as other recent ones.. seems like many of the tornados have gone unwarned by the weather service. This one I think was unwarned until it destroyed valley view & the debris showed up on the radar…
Many times Ryan Hall & meteorologist Andy Hill have called out tornadoes long before they are noted by the weather service. I wish more people would watch his livestreams and for when they aren’t on, Max Velocity livestreams a lot & does a great job too

Oaky, so we need to go back to the data and see EXACTLY where and when these tornadoes formed and see if there are any PATTERNS....we can start with the NEXRAD towers.
Tornados happen because of weather, weather is irregular and constantly shifting and changing. A bad storm can show up almost anywhere at any time. My home town was hit by an f5 In 1990 killing 29 people. There was never any tornados in my town before this and there hasn’t been one since. They are irregular anomaly’s. Sure some areas are more prone to being at risk but trying to identify patterns isn’t gonna help

Yeah like that time in the 90s when a storm ripped up the grass. The sky gets yellow it sounds like a train. Then it goes dead silent. I’ve been in a few. If you want to avoid them don’t live where they happen lol

People often see what they want to see. If they want to see conspiracy theories then that's what they will see. Tornadoes have been happening for millennia and now all of a sudden some people want to use some kind of conspiracy theory to explain tornadoes. But they provide evidence like someone said it had a NEXRAD signature, but no context like what WTF is that?! Nobody ever gives an explanation. The usual response I get is "go do your own research"!

What do you think of when you see tornado damage? Most people feel the horror and the sadness of people's stuff being destroyed and people being killed that's really terrible but you know what I always see, jobs pickup trucks and Workman all their gear loaded up seven different license plates from different states all lined up at the pay by the week motel. For a solid year after the storm jobs why I can pay off that new truck all that tornado damage got me a job so every time there's a tornado I say jobs jobs Workman have jobs from all around hundreds of miles around jobs as insurance agent cries and drops his Bagel how much it's going to cost
Maybe the profits of the junk you sell should go to the victims of these storms!
