I also made an engine system for a karting in VR. I used a lever to throttle and break. But it's not really handy. The engine system works great !!!

Thanks for posting your awesome tutorial videos. Quick question: I’m developing a VR game targeting only SteamVR users for now-is the player prefab the standard way to implement the player or is there a more performant way ([CameraRig] prefab and/or custom camera rig/controllers)? Thank you!
Now, all it needs to be is multiplayer online, with chat enabled, and pit stops where you can show off you're crazy dance moves between races. And a bookie, so those more inclined to dabble, can bet on races. lol.. i dunno, I have a twisted brain...

download unity, put your mind to it, and make it. it's free. well, unless you're some sort of genius and make more money than the free copy allows before you have to pay. but by then, you're driving around in your hot rod irl.

@@TayoEXE They have some intuitive properties and a lot of other not so much ones, and a lot of those not so intuitive ones are somehow related to each other, so if you mess up any number the result its really unpredictable... you need to really dig in and understand how they work to fine tune them, but long story short, if you don't need all those extra features involved in friction, slip and more then just use the ball controller valem uses, otherwise look up for the blog with auto wheel collider values resolver thing and how to set the center of mass, also dont forget to make the car rigidbody heavy so it wont bounce off everywhere

probably just setting the walls to have collision detection or something... I tried to learn unity, but it's always different to the tuts I watch and I cant deal with it...
Just increase the radius of the characters capsule collider

I need to execute a function from a script on a VR control button. But I don't know how to do it. Do you have a video that shows a practical way to assign an action to a VR control button?

Hi! I need your help. Please tell me I have to develop a VR game for dyspraxia patients in which I want to treat their hand eye coordination. In which I need to track his hand motion, for this should I buy kinect device or VR headset controllers are enough?
Oculus Quest 2 has hand tracking. It's not perfect but has potential. The controller tracking on the other hand is very very accurate. Not sure about other devices.
