Wow, this end result is actually really cool! Those were some really creative uses of those tools, never thought about how you could use video for more immersive effects!
Brilliant! Years ago I made a Family Feud game manager in PPT. The cool thing was using VBA to read the game definition file for the match, which made it easy to configure and use over and over again without modifying any slides. Soooooo ... you could add in a VBA initialization routine to access different background videos, songs, and logo spawning sequences and you'd have a tidy little reusable engine :)
Amazing. As a person that used to make fanart comics in Powerpoint, I highly enjoyed seeing the more advanced things you can do in it! ;p 10/10 will watch this video again.
Proud to be here before you upcoming millions of subscribers 🔥 you are doing a crazy work on both video games, video storytelling and montage. It's such a good moments to watch your videos man !
I like the way you describe things- random comment but I found myself being able to comprehend what you were saying very easily! Very entertaining video
You damn cray cray and I love it! Thank you for this glorious creation! Now I have no excuses and can only be shamed for not doing something for myself.
Yeah, I always made Point and Click Escape Rooms and even did a Five Nights at Freddy´s in PowerPoint, which was actually very good. There were hidden timers, that changed "buttons" without the player noticing, so it was some sort of random. Like when you click on something "in game", every second something different happened. And lots friends loved it! XD
this is such an excellent sequel to that random video i watched years ago about programming in powerpoint which was mostly a joke but also quite fleshed out, glad to see theres a whole community about it now
This is insane! I can barely make this is any other game engine, let alone powerpoint! I can't believe you aren't at 50k yet, you make content like a youtuber with millions of subs. Well done!
Wow! The game at 2:34 looks really cool! I just got done playing it and it's so good! Thank you for showing me it. I highly recommend everyone plays it.
Have you heard of Storyline 360? It's like a glorified version of PowerPoint, and we genuinely make some of our games in it where I work. It's horrible. We've managed to make entire point-and-click adventure games in it. It's built for quizzes. Why do we use it. Also i still cant get over the quality of your videos, you are SMASHING it
Lol! Dude, every time I saw the guy who kept showing up with the afro, white shirt, black tie, black pants (like at 1:11), for the entire first 7 minutes or so of this video, I legitimately thought it was just some random guy from a stock video website. 🤣 It wasn't until about 7:36 when you crouched behind the projector that I realized it was just you, the content creator, filming himself. 😆 Idk if that was intentional or not, but it blew my mind. I need to check out more of your content
This is absolutely awesome, but if you added a rectangle so that people who are playing know when to hit you could maybe have the inside of the rectangle a neon green color and the outside's orange or red love to hear what you think about this
This is totally fantastic "hack" - but arguably a lot more work than using a real game engine because of the painstaking placement and animation of each target by hand. Any decent 2d engine would allow the same basic method of using pre-rendered backgrounds to make it look pretty but would allow automating of the moving targets so that you could write the whole thing in an afternoon. Or multiple days if you are learning the tool for the first time (but then you have new skills to use for your next game, so... that's still a win). Nonetheless it's really cool to see how far you pushed powerpoint.
did you know that you are able to import 3d objects into powerpoint and animate them like any other object with animations. Powerpoint has a bunch of free assets that you can use
Should've used a sequential trigger, like splitting the blocks into two (or even 4 or 8) triggers, to detect swiping motion and direction, and ensure only cutting blocks in the correct direction counts.
Wow, this end result is actually really cool! Those were some really creative uses of those tools, never thought about how you could use video for more immersive effects!
Thanks Banana! Your project was a big inspiration!

You could've just made this a game and called it a day, but you went above and beyond with the whole VR headset thing!
haha, it's always nice when you drop by, Seegol!
It's not really above and beyond
It’s not VR just because you use Virtual Desktop… this video is clickbait.
@@emeralgamedevSorry but I gotta dislike man

That's hilarious, I've seen some power point games before but this is truly the pinnacle. Nice work!

Dude this is lit. When I saw the thumbnail I was expecting something barely playable but this genuinely looks like a decent VR game. Nice job
This is awesome. I used to work in the DoD and the people there would be in awe of your skill with their favorite program
This is amazing!!! It actually looks really good!!!! Well done, Sir. I doff my cap to thee.
This is art! A couple of months ago I created a Google slides game and it's so cool see that there's a much larger community than I ever thought!
I love how crazy your ideas are, and how you end up making them working
Nice storytelling through the research section. You didn’t even work on your own project for 5 minutes of the video but you kept audiences interested.

Shucks, thanks Stimpicus. I'm glad I was able to deliver!
How does this channel only have 60K subs??? I never imagined making a VR game with ppt was possible. You've earned a subscription.
Waiting for a doom port for PowerPoint that I can run at work lmao

the name pointsaber fits because you're basically pointing at notes and not slashing them 🤣
good work~!
Powerpoint was my first game engine and Beat Saber is one of my favorite games.
This is the version of nerd I love the most. Good job.
now thats a real slide show
Omg -- you're even using one of those ppt clickers that I also hate. 😄
Thanks for the video!!!
