A true modeler. Love a man that plays with his models after building. Rock on, dude

@terryvallis1436 there's nothing worse than watching an action figure collector who refuses to open the packaging and play with the things. It's not like it's a vintage Han solo 3.75 inch scale fig. Model kits deserve the same love and attention ❤️ ♥️

I thought this was going to be about fixing my cramped work space. Not how to buy model glue.

@cratecruncher4974 I mean kinda? The vid is about what David would have optimized if he were allowed the time to start over again but with the knowledge he now knows. Part of that is the optimization is the amount of stuff and the actual stuff he had to buy. Smaller amounts of really optimized stuff=better space management. That CAN result in a better overall workspace. Am I reaching? Maybe 😅😅 but there's some truth to it

@@SunwardHobbiesToronto I'd just like a retailer to show me how to spray an airbrush in my building area, on a moments notice, without overspray or cleaning hassle. That's a stretch!

@cratecruncher4974 that's definitely a different topic all together! For a future vid, once our studio is up and running!

Hey, since you're showing acrylic paint, Sunward Hobbies also sells water-based putty and decal solutions from Vallejo that are also pretty good.

Was not expecting the "suck on that" comment. Was there a back story??

@timcarson8146 tamiya is one of the most beloved hobby companies and their reputation is up there as one of the greatest to ever do it. There are, however, people who don't see it that way. A very loud vocal minority that thinks that people who build tamiya kits aren't worthy of being called hobbyists because tamiya kits are too consistent and perfect. Their logic is if the builder didn't struggle at some point in the build, then the doesn't count. An incredibly silly notion, hence David's suck it.
Then they bring up a second point regarding tamiya's prices. That may have been true 20 years ago but not anymore. In general, the average airfix kit is on par or more expensive than a tamiya kit, and we both know which brand would win in that scenario in terms of quality. I did a youtube short/tiktok on this exact topic about 2 months ago or so, with detailed price comparisons
