@@hollandjs im a 29, i think and i got a 27, i have a long torso and im 5'10 so i didnt notice they were too high. up until a few months ago i only wore low rise jeans, and as a fluke.. looking for something new i got the agolde pinch waist in long and have been trying all the different styles. Then somehow stumbled on the grfrnd jeans and ow my jeans game has changed. i think most of agolde jeans have high rise, no? anyway, i am just thrilled to have found some jeans that accomodate the back side without having to go up 2, 3 or 4 sizes. these have been great for my self esteem.
I've had this with the same style of GRLFRND denim before where I got the same style in slightly different washes and they fit like completely different jeans
