i have a thesis which explains apex engagement in my head, and i was thinking of how to describe what youve eloquently labeled as pressure. that is exactly the right word for it. apex is a game of pressure and taking advantage /movement mechanics + experience and awareness to exploit the advantages of pressure working in your favor.

the day after i watched this live i played the best apex i’ve ever played, just from being more mindful of tipping the balance and only committing once i have an advantage. extremely helpful breakdown :)

Man I love your explanation style. Do you do coaching for players that are awful at the game?

Although I already have good game knowledge I am a very aggressive player after a few months I began taking apex I bit more seriously I also (got good) then sadly my style pulled me down luckily i found a friend that supported me in my style he was my support we would take turns pushing I had smoke that was vital for taking out single players almost like a double assassin and so my aggressiveness was not a bad thing. Then he moved thay sold his pc. Now all the friends I have are on controller my one friend I Stat wise better than but as I thought he can only hit close range shots and his moovement was also really bad so I'm now stuck solo till the doom of me. I am a man of moovement and resantly learnd ras strafing. Btw really good vir supper clear and informative 👌

No offense but this video could have been 1 minute long, it should have been - i misplayed by jumping into a doorway and got unlucky because there were 2 guys already staring at me, i then took high-ground and challenge them with 0 hp, next time i should have been more patient and instead of aping, maybe peek through the windows or maybe climb up to the other side and hold a door so that you have an idea of where they are and make a play or when i got cracked i should have q'd away and reposition. Again, no offense but overcomplicating simple mistakes and overthinking it is just a waste of time and effort. And i don't think you know what having high ground means, challing someone with 0 hp on high ground looking down is not always the right play, if they were decent, one could have looked up and one clipped you easily, instead, it's all about controlling high ground, whoever can control high ground the best wins, that means dropping down when you have to (if your one hp) , and the main reason why high ground is op is because it provides free cover, if you are above, you can peek in and out, you get downed and they can't see you, you can run back without you being in their line of sight whereas if you are on lowground, it's harder to aim and all you see is someone peeking in and out, but there are times when someone has cover on lowground maybe like a nasty headglitch, making it just as good of a cover as your high ground.
