I'd love to clean that van aha I work for Birmingham van Centre vanology as the head valeter I see my fair share of diry Van's aha and that's gotta be one of the worst I've seen if u need and advice how to clean that that back to its former glory let me know
HI Rob and Chris, Just wanted to say a big thank you to you both for all the entertainment you provide to us petrol heads. , particularity during these horrible winter months when our own projects stall a bit.. . I love your 'warts and all' attitude, as your not afraid to show when things don't go so well. Just used car vertical to buy my son his first car and very pleased with that service, great for peace of mind, , well recommended. :) I've been watching for a long time but never commented before , so thought it was about time. Keep up the fantastic work guys and wishing you and your families a fantastic Christmas break, (If you can tear yourself away form the garage for a few days that is... ) Top men. Well done.
I'll never understand people that disrespect another persons property. I know you said they are contractors and you will probably have different people using the van every week (maybe even every day), but that's no excuse for not cleaning up after yourself. As my mother always said "leave it the way you find it". A lot of hard work ahead with this one lads. 👍
You think guys that drive it & others that spend time in it would a little respect for the van even if owned by a company. Can’t wait to see it clean again 👍🏻
New boards in the back including top to bottom on rear doors. Pull crew seats out & clean them Rob style. Then it's a tanker full of G101 & marigolds for you two 😂😂.... Nice buy.
Speculate to accumulate and it’s a winner even if it’s cosmetically rough if you can get 2 days wages each out of it. The man from Salvage Rebuilds he say yes!
Wow the engine was the cleanest part of the van I’m glad you put a cover over the chair to drive it that’s a very dirty van can’t wait for the clean up video it’s going to be amazing
The back of that van reminds me of when we had a fleet of VW Caddy vans on the road doing IT maintenance work. One lad barrel rolled a van on a country lane. He had several large printers in the back, ink, toner and wax exploded in the back of the van. Lucky the van was a write-off so he didn’t have to clean it out. 😜🤪
David bellamy would be in his eye holes with this one if he were still alive. I remember the comedy sketches with lenny henry acting as david bellamy squashing the soil between his hands and enjoying it lol.
The long game, congratulations Rob. Vans are for work anyway so it's about the mechanicals. Keep up the great work guys and keep the van content coming.
When you opened the back door on that van I burst out laughing but as usual guys I know you will bring it round and it will be good fun to see it come up shining. Cheers guys.
It makes makes Good business sense to buy that Van irrespective of the state of it... like you said Rob and Chris getting the foot in the door.... not sure how the company would allow a van to get in such a state on the first place. I am sure some pledge and a yellow duster will clean that up in no time all. The Magic white sponges u can buy will remove all the ingrained stuff. Great once Again.
I can't believe the same company keeps all its other vehicles immaculate, lol! Had to laugh when you called it the dirtiest van in the world. Spot on. I'm sure you'll get it looking [fairly] mint!
Boys the back of that van is clean compared to the old Transit I run scrap in with 🤣, it will clean up with a lot of hard work and chemicals , good luck 👍
What a result the amount of tarmac you have you can do the drive to the yard. 😂 I remember you saying about this firm and the fussy bloke. Looks like he’s getting kicked into touch. The firm don’t want to be stuck with motors they want to make a call and you turn up and it’s gone then the firm can move on. Sounds like the bloke just kissed good bye to the goose that’s been laying him golden eggs. 👍🤞
I've driven a lot of work vans over the years, but none of em were that filthy inside. However, like you said it's got your foot in the door for maybe getting some good stock in future
Wow this is what l call a surprise video , this looks like an road tar Van carrying supplies & crew , but l will watch you chris & rob putting some elbow grease into it to make it lovely jubbly again 😀
It looks like a Tarmac crews van. if it is Tarmac inside the back doors brush Solvent or Diesel on it for a day or so to soften it and then Steam clean . Try small area you'll be surprised especially with the use of Diesel.
That is almost certainly a Tarmac crews van, they are the filthiest vans ever and not really any fault of the crew, if they are working nights or going from day shift to night works then it all gets thrown in the back hence the black marks everywhere from shovels and rakes, bitumen, tack coat, hydraulic oil, tarmac, red diesel etc etc. It is an extremely messy job to do and its a mobile job so understandably it's filthy.
The worst I ever saw here in the states is an Ford F350 I bought as a parts truck from a coal mine. There was literally four inches of mud on the floor, and the frame was cracked in two places.
Rob, good business sense to see it as maybe 'a loss leader' to open up possible future opportunities. Saying that I'm sure you and Chris can work your cleaning expertise on the van and squeeze some sort of profit from it.
Excellent. Good strategy as well in terms of securing a supply chain of vehicles. It may be a bit rough with some light cosmetics, although you will be able to sort out all of the issues as always. I am delighted for you. Well done. Thank you for sharing.
That was a genius idea putting that plastic sheet over the driver's seat. You don't want to dirty it any more than it was 😂😂😂. Great job in video 2 which I watched first, then realised their was a part 1, thank you UA-cam
Cheers guys just sat down for my break at work and now have something good to watch.Great content as always very much appreciated.Matt in freezing Aberdeen
Yes company cars. No one looks after them .. my little vans I had a fiesta van and a Ford escort van .. my own I Kept them clean washed every week. I actually sold my Ford escort van for more than I paid for it .. 1.8 desiel I bought it in 1998 for 850 sold it for 1200.
Pt 2 coming at 3pm
I'd love to clean that van aha I work for Birmingham van Centre vanology as the head valeter I see my fair share of diry Van's aha and that's gotta be one of the worst I've seen if u need and advice how to clean that that back to its former glory let me know

Excellent, a bonus Sunday video.
I like that you have protective seat cover on to protect your clothes Rob!
Great idea on the throw back lads. Remember this van well.
Its the first time I've seen a cleaner engine bay rather than interior
Well done for putting out two videos as a Sunday bonus videos

Brave men! not often the engine bay is the cleanest part of a vehicle, looking forward to part 2.
If anyone can turn that van around you two you guys Will certainly do a top-notch job
New boards in the back including top to bottom on rear doors.
Pull crew seats out & clean them Rob style.

Brucey Bonus video thanks both👍
Speculate to accumulate and it’s a winner even if it’s cosmetically rough if you can get 2 days wages each out of it. The man from Salvage Rebuilds he say yes!
You both have a good Strategy. Stick with it. 👍👍👍
That's good business sense building on a good relationship with the company for more vehicles in the near future.💪💯👑
Bonus Sunday video! 👍👍👍👍
Wow the engine was the cleanest part of the van I’m glad you put a cover over the chair to drive it that’s a very dirty van can’t wait for the clean up video it’s going to be amazing
Loved it last time and great to see it again.
Nice little van bit of work looking forward to seeing it 👍👍👍
Forgot about this one great idea 👍roll on pt2
Haha ,the thought of you in that van with your white trainers ,brilliant vid
A deep clean of the world's dirtiest van starring Rob and Chris sounds great! Looking forward to the inch by inch guys 🙂
Wow I am am lost for words guys ,what a state

Bloody hell Rob, that is one shoddy filthy van. However, if anyone can bring it back to look good, you and Chris can!
Loving it! I´m gonna watch the upcoming video´s with a nice cold beer in my hand.
I drove a low loader for tarmac firm for years, thats just the norm for the gang vans.
11:00 *Good move, sure it will look sparkling after Rob & Chris get stuck in.*
Great work and thanks for sharing this with us take care
Hi rob and Chris congratulations on reaching 222,000 subscribers and well done for all of your hard work once again
I know a friend who had a crafter registered in 2011 and he has done 700,000 miles on the same engine. Solid.
Thanks Fellers 👍👍
G101 party time 🥳
Can't wait for the clean up!
Looking forward to seeing how on earth you get that clean, good luck lads.
I think you should be able to reverse fit the wood in the back ….. the right side goes to the left side dirty side in , and paint the bulk head
As always another great video guys ,
Keep up the good work 👍👍
Rob, the engine bay is cleaner than the inside of the van, must be a first, one for the Guinness book of records
Great throwback video Rob and Chris enjoyed the whole series on the van👍

It can't be often when a vehicle's cleaner under the bonnet then it is inside the cab!
Get the G101 on it Rob!
Nooiiceeee.
👍
This build introduced me to the channel. Many thanks for the ongoing excellent content on the channel Rob and Chris. 🙏
You have your work cut there boys! But knowing what you’ve done previously with the road tarred van this’ll be easy!!!!
I've driven a lot of work vans over the years, but none of em were that filthy inside. However, like you said it's got your foot in the door for maybe getting some good stock in future
An unexpected Sunday video, that’s a very nice surprise 😊😊 Cheers Rob and Chris, stay safe👍
Bonus stuff on a Sunday?
Yup, that'll do 😁
Wow that's pretty filthy ! I think you're gonna need plenty of G101 👍
Get that G101 ready lads!!!!
Was like going bk in time didthecrafter last year have same issue with milage and was much the same van and condition good work rob and chris
G101 will get some use here , will be watching.
A jet wash inside the whole van, including the load area, then, once dry in the rear, sand the timber or even paint it and it will improve it no end.
Smart move !.. just lots of elbow grease ...hopefully .
Blimey Rob that's what you call dirty.
Wow this is what l call a surprise
video , this looks like an road tar
Van carrying supplies & crew , but
l will watch you chris & rob putting
some elbow grease into it to make
it lovely jubbly again 😀

Haha I like the plastic on the seat, usually to protect the seat from you, but in this van it seems to be protecting you from the seat haha
A lot of work will reap rewards in the long run
Sometimes you can take the left hand side panels and fit them to the right.
That way you have the clean back side of panel showing.
Crafters make good Camper conversions.
That’s a dirty van you’ve got there. It looks like the rag-wheel of Hell! Not sure I’d be up for it, but under the hood it looks great.
Excellent. Good strategy as well in terms of securing a supply chain of vehicles. It may be a bit rough with some light cosmetics, although you will be able to sort out all of the issues as always. I am delighted for you. Well done. Thank you for sharing.
Good luck with that one!

Throwbacks. Spot on Rob as your subscribers have gone up a lot recently and good to pay the bills also 😉
As an ex valeter there is a day in valeting the van, look forward to seeing you getting to grips with it,
Its a marathon not a sprint

I'm sure you will have that van looking good again. A bit of G101 and some elbow grease will make a huge improvement. Is the van an Ex GARIC vehicle?
Well you certainly like a challenge. Will the rear liner wood clean up or be replaced ?.Gentlemen , Place your bets. We know the price will be right.
Is the seat cover to keep YOU clean 😆
Five dashes instead of a mileage read-out? I think the 'dash' symbol is used by NASA to indicate a Light Year. LOL. 😁
i remember this Rob,loved watching every episode about the Crafter :D
Hi Chris I seen that 50 p before you
OMG you guy’s have really got your work cut out but seeing how well you turn things around I every faith in you.👍
Needs plenty of G101 guys lol
Where there's muck or dirty dirty muck it's time to roll the sleeves up. What about painting the inner rear panels or just removing them.
