_This_ shark? As in, the one in this video? Barely anyone saw Jaws: The Revenge. It was the Superman IV of the franchise - people (and even the cast) mocked it at release for being cheap and cheesy. AFAIK, this isn't even the original shark prop from the first film.
Superman IV came out the same year as Jaws: The Revenge. 1987. Best film of 1987: Predator.
I rode the jaws ride at Universal it was awesome watch the first one

As a kid I really liked this film and considered the rankings of the franchise from best to worst as 1, 2, 4, 3.
As an adult, having studied film and TV in college, I noticed how a lot of shots are unnaturally cropped and ridiculously framed to make it look like the mechanism of the shark was hidden, as well as its operators, and yeah. It’s fucking awful. I mean, Michael Caine is as legendary as always and Lorraine Gary is great as well. She really sells the fear of the story.
But… it’s just an awful one really. As a stand alone shark film, it’s alright. But it embarrassed the producers so much that on the blurb of the film, they had to claim it was a Bullshark that killed Sean and not “the shark” on the DVD covers.

The video was fine. It was the movie that fucking sucked. Easily the worst of the four.
