I do "Math the Room". Here I post problems throughout the room and each pair has a recording sheet. They room from problem to problem for(a designated time) solving. Once done we share answers . Just a thought to get the students moving and not just sitting there. Alicia from CT
I have more desks than students in my classroom, so for now I use it to put papers underneath my document camera so myself or some of my students can go to it and work on a problem.

Why do you have a student desk connected to your desk? Please answer just curious
