Is this able to be used when converting a set of 2 @ 36" swinging french doors to become double bypass so that both doors sit to the right of the opening when opened? And can the hangers be extended so that the sliding bar can be mounted above a transom that sits over the doors?
Thanks for the question. The short answer is that our brackets can be adapted to work in almost any situation. But there are a few things to work around.
1. Extending the hangers. You would need to do this yourself. But you would no longer have jump protection. Something needs to keep the door from jumping off the track in the event of an accident.
2. Double bypass can be done with our hardware but again you have to sacrifice the jump protection for the outside door. In your situation where you would be extending the hangers anyway, this wouldn’t be an issue.
Last I would just mention that we have had several customers install the hardware by mounting to the transom beam and they look great. But that may not fit your design idea.

@@traceynix2256 my very first install was actually on a transom where we converted an open cove to a closet. I built out the top with 1x4s and glass then hung a sliding door below it. Those photos are on our website.

Nice stuff. But I wouldn’t say you could mount “any door anywhere” unless your tracks are capable of mounting to the ceiling as well.
What about the track? Where do you get a track without the pre drilled holes? Do you sell one?
Yes we do sell the track with no holes. Some guys actually like to source their own track locally from bar stock as long as it’s the right dimensions.

We don't have them in brushed yet. But we did just have a customer that used them with brushed nickel track and rollers. It actually looked very nice...
Need to have two tracks that allow three doors to pass by for a 6 ft total opening without wall space either side of opening. Can this be configured?
Hi, thanks for your question. The system currently doesn’t support double tracks for bypass doors.
It will support multiple doors on a single track. They still can bypass, just not a full bypass. It requires a special order roller bracket.
