I have watched the whole clips but no where you have applied the lubricant grease anywhere which I presume you have not recorded. Otherwise all you your recordings are wow!
I have the same Hercules gearbox. The black coupler at 6:35 is troublesome. It just can't move smoothly on the axle with the bearings (even with grease). The way to assembling it is same as yours. Just thinking to replace it with Lesu's.
I have never had any problems with these couplers. I have 3 hercules tractors. I think the couplers mightbhave got inter changed as two of them look identical. Check that possibility before you go for lesu. If you think the assembly is done correcrly then, lesu would be a good choice..!!
