This is the real English we need to learn I find it more easy than informal English , because this is the English we used to learn in school , even I found the informal English so different because it contains many idioms as well as phrases verbs that we did not use to hear about it

I dare noticing, formal words are romance borrowings - Latin / French. And, more, romance derived verbs, more recent, are regular, whereas older verbs, with Germanic origins, are more often irregular. The English language has such a complex and fascinating history!
