I was at church yesterday and there were these two deaf women with an interpreter interpreting all the music and the sermon for them but once the music started is when I realized how beautiful music is. They were ROCKING OUT like they were gesturing playing the guitar and the flute and dancing, thet couldn't HEAR the music but the rest of the congregations energy, the vibrations of bodies dancing, tapping their feet, clapping, it all was so contagious that they felt it - they can't even hear it but they are experiencing music without even HEARING any of it. It blew my mind.
That's how deaf people enjoy music, often they crank their radios up so they can literally feel the music through their bodies. There are even a few deaf bands that actually sound really good and enjoy that part of the music.

Oh this would be the most awful and interesting test for me. I really want to try this at some point. Im a person who fears the unknown, and am very sound oriented. Im quite good at picking up even the slightest sounds, and i hate not knowing where my body is at all times. Im not afraid of the dark, i love the dark, but i need at least subtle light to keep me sane, so total darkness drives me crazy.

I was at church yesterday and there were these two deaf women with an interpreter interpreting all the music and the sermon for them but once the music started is when I realized how beautiful music is. They were ROCKING OUT like they were gesturing playing the guitar and the flute and dancing, thet couldn't HEAR the music but the rest of the congregations energy, the vibrations of bodies dancing, tapping their feet, clapping, it all was so contagious that they felt it - they can't even hear it but they are experiencing music without even HEARING any of it. It blew my mind.

That's how deaf people enjoy music, often they crank their radios up so they can literally feel the music through their bodies. There are even a few deaf bands that actually sound really good and enjoy that part of the music.

Oh this would be the most awful and interesting test for me. I really want to try this at some point. Im a person who fears the unknown, and am very sound oriented. Im quite good at picking up even the slightest sounds, and i hate not knowing where my body is at all times. Im not afraid of the dark, i love the dark, but i need at least subtle light to keep me sane, so total darkness drives me crazy.

The thing is I'm not afraid of the dark for spooky reasons, I hate it cuz it feels really uncomfortable when I see the same thing when I blink and when I open my eyes.
