New Position Sensor from 1AAuto.com trq.video/ib-1...
This video shows you how to install a new camshaft position sensor in your 2005-2021 Nissan Frontier 4.0L V6.
For vehicles with electronically controlled timing, a camshaft position sensor relays important information to the computer to ensure the engine is running properly. A bad sensor may relay incorrect or no information, resulting in poor running conditions and trouble codes.
This repair was done on a 2012 Nissan Frontier S 4.0L Crew Cab Pickup 4-Door 4WD Automatic and the process should be similar on the following vehicles:

2006 Nissan Frontier

Great instructions. I managed to remove both sensors, with my long arms, without removing the wire harness you mentioned. Turned the sensor enough to clear it both out and back in. The plug is a pain, but if you push the release in far enough, they slip off. Save hundreds and I'm no kid either.

Taking out the top cover that says 4.0 gives you a little bit more room but be SUPER CAREFUL, the right side sits on top of a bolt thats connected to the driver side valve cover. If you yank the cover off you can brake the bolt along with the valve cover now leaving a hole 😢 Also the passenger side sensor connecter needs to be pushed in all the way with enough strength so that it will release the sensor. Remember push in the connecter and the sensor will automatically pop off. You can use some pliers just be careful not to brake the connector.
Good job! Do you know if these camshaft position sensor parts will fit a 2003 Nissan Murano?
can you give a good shot of the engine so we can see what your doing
Nope you can thank Nissans engineering department for that
Having a hard time to take out the 2nd sensor does seem to pull out
