Yo, perplexity is an AI-powered search engine (not a dedicated OSINT-tool) which I personally find quite useful for conducting research on any topic.

we could build one, via agents and such. not terribly difficult, obviously constrained to OSINT information available on the web however
The web…that’s where we’re doing OSINT anyway right? Whoever builds a tool that just does AI magic for OSINT…will win!
Its great for getting an introduction about your subject (if he's famous) as it is just providing the information already available over web. But I don't think it is of any use for actual OSINT which requires digging deep into the internet.

Yeah for sure. There will be more AI tooling for investigations for sure.

I use perplexity as my main ai. It's a great ai.

I don’t at the moment! I’m sure there are a million of them already. But I do have a Podia website that has a community function on it. Maybe I should launch something!

Careful with some osint communities. A lot of doxxing goes on there… (not all ofc, more positive interactions if anything. Just be careful, it can get extremely toxic very fas
Ofc with that being said, there’s a ton of great communities which really aren’t toxic. I do encourage seeking them out, can be a great learning tool.

I honestly don’t know!
Until Ai hallucination can be mitigated or identified more easily. I can’t imagine using AI for OSINT work is anything other than dangerous and bound to give you false results.

oh my holy f, if I see more OSINT tools using AI like perplexity (started by an ex-employee of Open AI -- so this should give you an idea what it is. There are FAR better OSINT tools for this Gary... this will only expose your privacy. I don't use AI tools that I don't host myself.
This video is a while back buddy. Back when AI was fresh and not everyone had thrown it into their tooling.

@@theGaryRuddell Interesting, thanks for that, it has been a while since I used NVIDIA... interesting to know it has onboard GPT but then again since I do not focus on GPU's I am a bit outdated in that regard. So thanks, I need to set aside some time do some research and testing on various GPU's
