Guns are situational, you probably want them to kill few zombies fast or if anything is far away but in general they are much weaker than melee weapons. I've encountered a weird bug, humans sometimes will dodge your bullets. I guess bullets act like bolts and arrows, humans will try to dodge it even if it doesn't make sense for dodging a bullet.
@@davidsplooge14 from what I’ve played, it sucks and only has about 30 hrs in total for play value, the game offers zero replay value and the story extremely sucks. The gameplay is super choppy at times and the physics are just horrible, its like playing gta 5 in first person mode. I have the platinum trophy on both dead island 2 and dying light 2, i have around 70 hrs on dead island 2, and 1157 hours on dying light 2. Needless to say dying light 2 is just overall better, and will remain that way for the next five years to come.
One problem i have idk why no one else has brought this up but is the blocking. I get blocking with melee weapons, thats fine and makes sense but man it's annoying that most every other game has you aim down sights with right click and it feels weird here to have to press ctrl. I know you can change the binding but if you do, you now make it awkward for melee weapons because you have to now press a different button to block when honestly i would much just rather have them remove blocking from weapons and let us aim down sights whenever we press right click. Also lets be real who tf uses blocking with ranged weapons anyways. The entire point of a ranged weapon is to kill them before they even get close enough to hit you. So yeah in short, i just want them to remove blocking from guns and just let us aim down sights with the same binding used for blocking
Why the blood splatter looks blackish red when I play ? But in your video it's decently brighter red? Are you using dlss? Does contact shadows play a role in the look of blood effects?
im not a fan of the guns and how ti get them at all, not worth my time or effort, my melle and bow and crossbow from Shen is better i think than the guns and the way of getting them, then there is the reload and ammo thing and the amout of damage the zombies thake with the guns, my legendary bow and Ballista bow kill better than them guns, im legend lvl 65 and my bow, melee, throwable, kicks are all 10 of 25
I don't see the fun in using firearms in Dying light 2, because it doesn't make fucking sense, 15 years and the guns still work? Ok, I'll buy it for you, is there still ammunition? ARE YOU KIDDING ME??, 15 years and there is still ammunition is simply an insult to the intellect, it is also stupid, a shot can be heard for KILOMETERS, and in a city infested with zombies for 1 single shot, you should already have 100 zombies in less than 1 minute, which doesn't happen, it's just silly.
Just don't use them. What's your problem? The community wanted guns, so Techland added them. I personally don't use them(yet). Also don't worry as the system will definetly be updated. The lore behind this can't be perfect, since this game was never meant to have guns. Chill out a bit, it's not a crime to add guns to make the game more fun.
Maybe play the game to understand dumbass?? The military hid away a huge stash of guns for 15 years to retrieve later. They don’t just magically spawn. Yes, ammunition is now finite. But there are like 40-50 crates full of guns and ammunition. So don’t speak on shit you don’t understand

@@burpybut8586 I enjoyed most of my time with the game but the story just sucks. The factions are unlikable as are most of the characters. The DLC was bad. The entire experience is a downgrade from the first game with the exception of the visuals.
@metalm6455 Sure, but that doesn't mean it's worse than the first one. The combat, park our, graphics, everything at this point is better. I'm a serious fan of the first one and loved it, but I definitely have a hard time going back to it after all the changes made to this one.

Human enemies are almost all amped up on inhibitors, so them dodging bullets isn't even that far fetched.

Use UV flares when getting swarmed at night time and use some regeneration and toughness boosters!
I hate that you have to press the R3 Button on console to ads your guns they should make it so that you can remap your buttons
