Really enjoy your videos. Me and my buddies go overnight fishing at that spot on the east cut. We never really catch anything good but its more for the experience and hanging out with friends.

We just to go there in my 85 ford ranger 4 cyl 4 speed standard 2 wd in winter just to ge those bull drums and sheepheads had a lot of fun with my friend luis martinez(rip) and friends.

Where do you inflate your tires after you get off the sand?
Ramon Longoria i pull over as soon as I Edit beach access 6. I have a Viair air compressor and it works great. It inflates super quick.

About how long of a drive off beach access 6 is it?
It’s about 27 miles. The speed limit is 15 to 25mph so it takes a while, but honestly you don’t want to speed up there. The scene is beautiful and it’s nice to soak it in. Also, you need to look out for potential debris or holes so going fast won’t allow you to avoid them. Have fun and thanks for watching 🎥🎬

So 2 questions. Do you enter at Beach Access 6? And is camping allowed?
Yes, I enter at beach access 6. There is a small fee to enter. Overnight camping is allowed (I’ve camped up to 5 days out there.) The only thing that will keep you from camping is the weather and beach conditions. This weekend was pretty bad (beach flooding) so you wouldn’t have been able to camp. Keep an eye on the weather and tides before you arrive. Thanks for commenting!

How do you air up your tires again before driving on pavement?
In order to do it quickly, I use the viair compressor. Popular with off-roading.

Another awesome video, how long does it take you to drive to East cut?
Once you get to access 6 it's about 45 min to a hour depending on tide conditions.

Thank you! 😊 Always takes longer with high tide so please check the weather to play it safe.
Last Feb. it was really tight in some spots at high tide.

Been wanting to fish the east cut but the rodeo im isn't 4wd. U think ide be safe making it out there??
I’ve seen people driving light two wheel drive vehicles when the tide is low and under ideal conditions. It’s possible to drive to the east cut jetties on hard packed sand but I would not recommend it. I sincerely doubt if a 2wd vehicle can make it west of the jetties though.
@@CoastalGX cool. Im here in mcallen we usually go out next to the convention center at spi where the flats are if not find a spot at any access where I won't b in anyone's way. Hooked up to what I'm assuming was a drum at one of the access spots but was out there w a tiger spinner haha and sum old ass mono line . Got him in close to the shore but he was playing w me and took off snapped my line. And Isla Blanca jetties to haha good times

We always pick up as much as we can (more than what we produce) but that raft was impossible to take. Only so much you can carry in an SUV.
