NOTE: THIS IS JUST A GAME! THE IDEAS AND THE ACTIONS TAKEN IN THE VIDEOS REPRESENT NOTHING IN REAL LIFE! THIS IS A SIMULATION!
The best way to play Austria, aside from forming Germany: Sphere the southern German states, and form the South German Confederation. Then immediately take the decision to revert to Austria. You now have annexed and have cores on Southern Germany. Now just form Austria-Hungary. Then reform into the Danubian Confederation to get accepted pops and more cores. With Polish and Ruthenian accepted pops, you can annex Poland and Ukraine.
That seems really good. This video disappoints me becuase I think it is the worst in the series, I toy with the idea of remaking it from time to time.
@@SGT The only thing is the Danubian reform is heavy RNG from my experience.
But how you can anex poland and the othet one? You will get an event?
@@balazsszalai2714 No. You gotta annex them the old fashioned way.
Having accepted pops just means less chance of rebellion, and more mobilization pops.
@@HeckaLives You could play GFM where they remove the RNG ;)
Vicky players when they conquer land which they will never get cores on: Beautiful borders!
Vicky players when they start with land which they will never get cores on: Disgusting, unplayable nation!
So true.... The game looks quite different from different perspectives. I think Austria needs a rework in Victoria 3 becuase right now it is the least fun GP.
Came back to watch one of the videos i hadnt seen yet from this series. Can't wait for the next one
Austria is so much fun in GFM. Destroying both Germany and Russia in one great war with help of France was the most satisfying thing I ever did in this game (Great War was pretty hard, Russia became overpowered and had only 20 professional brigades less than me)
I can imagine it is a lot of fun! Maybe I will try it at some point
Can’t Austria also form super Germany as well, or is that not a thing in hpm?
Sadly not in HPM... Only in vanilla I think
Spectacular gameplay
Thanks for the compliment!
you have to full siege Germany to kill their industry/military, and the rebels that spawn from the chaos will kill their prestige
I see. Thanks for the advice I hope you enjoyed the video!
@@SGT I did
Under👏Rated👏
Thanks so much!
Question: didn't you have a video where yeu played as a Balkan nation (Romania or Bulgaria?) and you had a really long hyphenated name? You made a comment about how low stability of the nation would be
15:28 this has happened so many times with me while playing some mod other than hpm and gfm
12:15 lol, the censor is too late
I have never understood what core do in Vic 2. I mean, if you have a culture accepted everything is fine, isn't it?
Yeah Austria is disappointing. I mean you can form Germany or Danubia (the latter is quite wholesome). but does nothing. You don´t get cores on more south Slavic land, nor on southern Germany. I think you can form the German Federation is some mod (I do not remember which). But I also do not know it that is really a difference to a normal German besides not being Austrian German but with Prussian flavor.
Core I think makes it so you can convert people easier and you get more control in the province. As an EU4 and Hoi4 enjoyer I think I put too much emphasis on cores.
How many countries in total are you going to play as?
Quite a few, some of the videos' have the list in the description. In the future I will try to add it to all of them.
Good vídeo
Thank you so much for watching and commenting!
Great video! Austria is my favorite nation to play :)
Austria is your favorite? Oh man I kind of feel bad for you. Well It was a good time, I think I could make this video but better. Thanks for watching!
Why didnt you annex the Balkans?
They were sphered and I was high on infamy. Thanks for watching!
:)
Turkey never lost anything because you backed down when you held the conference to push them out of the Balkans. If you hadn't backed down, you would have annexed large parts of Syria and Turkey on top of Bosnia and gotten Iraq, Lebanon, Albania and Jordan as vassals.
Instead turkey stood strong
Why do you always do liberal play through? Like how does serfdom slavery etc effect a country badly on the game I'd figure it would have huge benefits
