the "Nationalize the Industry" button gives your country direct ownership over any foreign investments (factories, railroads) that were made in your country by GPs. I believe it also can anger the GPs that invested in you and deter future investment if you're not a GP

@@SGT The GPs that invested in you also get an event where they can either choose to leave you alone which improves their relation with you, or they can get a:"cut down to size" wargoal on you.
Bruh so this is why I get that event a lot. I'm just trying to sphere people but suddenly they nationalize it all the time

Because La plata never owned Chile. They were their own Capitancy and independent nation
@@logoncal3001the Captaincy only ruled over Santiago and some of the bordering Administrative regions.
Antofagasta for example was ruled from La Plata iirc

reclaimed the falklands, you are now eligible for Argentinian citizenship

Man, how the hell do you get the event at 3:28. I wanna do a monarchist Argentina playtriugh but I can't get that event.
In 1850 I get the Rosas event but the outcome of the 2nd option is different. Instead of an event for Entre Rios I get the Regionalism policy. Help please
I think that you probably are not playing in GFM then. I played severa times to get a good game to record and every time I got that same event. Thanks for watching!
You could mess around with the date command, going back a few years for more time if you so wished.

To be fair fascism is very good in Vic2 but yeah..
Fascism is the best ideology gameplay wise but you never get it until like 1920 and you only really after you've lost cores.
@@justinv9413 You mean because of state capitalism plus jingoism most fascist parties have in Vic2? I would say having full rights is also very good.
@@ShadowDragon1848 State Capitalism, Jingoism, and often times you can go further or backwards with rights. So you can pick whatever suits your situation.
Bengal splitting into two countries (Bengal and Pakistan) instead of making one (just Bengal) is cursed yet somewhat (🤏) historically accurate.
