I don't often comment but for this I make exception. I've always had a taste for more, and the more I watch from you the more I appreciate your philosophy and lifestyle. You only take what you need, and only for food not for fun. I also appreciate the agony of seeing a 10 year old single malt being poured into a sauce pan but I know it added a certain zest to that marvelous gourmet delight that Pascal crafted from the bounty of nature. You are both blessed and a blessing, very talented, and exceptionally true human beings. Thank you.
You guys are amazing.....Pascale’s food creations, Troys sailing and mechanical ability.....both adventuress, apples, abalone, blackberries on the bottom of the world.....should deserve a prize......thanks for showing us 💐
I felt that. There's always one that gets away. The upside is that you're doing it and most of us are eating junk food in our home office, watching and wishing we were you. Full marks brother.
There are a bunch of critters below that are taking advantage of the untimely demise of the tuna. I do like your sensibilities towards not wanting to waste life for no reason.
Great filming in the first couple of minutes of that beautiful coastline. So agree with your sentiments about fishing for food and not for fun. All creatures should be respected. Like duck shooting, flying along not bothering anyone one minute and suddenly full of lead because apparently it's 'fun'.
It makes me so so happy that a little part of India is always with you in your are small little beautiful world ....... that’s of course apart from my best wishes.......... Ghee!!!
been watching her. She's one helluva cook, And it's all healthy/nutritious. a keeper indeed. Us Texans call pecans pecons. just let her cook. Call'em what u want, they'll be delicious. thanks you two.
Love when the Gourmet Sailor is on a roll cooking. She dominates the kitchen :) Also loves Troy's reaction about the whiskey! Overall, a nice video and wanting for more!
Bloody lockdown going on now 6 months delay over here in the caribbean. Binge watching your series again 1 year later after starting in indo during my first lockdown. Cheers from guadeloupe. look forward to following your footsteps
Hi Pascale and Troy, thanks for another awesome video! Just a request, if you have time, could you load all cooking classes/recipes up on your gourmet sailor cooking sub channel separately? I definitely want to make a few thing when I find ingredients, but have no idea what episode they appear in. Might attract a few more subs, being promoted as cooking videos and cooking sustainably? But i am no expert, Lol, happy travels😊
I'm liking the way you change a couple of your intro shots every week - ever so subtle. It keeps the intro up to date as you change your location, scenery and experiences. A bit of a weekly "Spot the Difference" competition. Still loving every episode.
Hey guys great video. You should know Coleman makes a nice little collapsible camp stove. It folds up nice and flat. I had one on my boat and used it to bake bread, rolls, chicken, fish and veggies! Works on any stovetop. Cheers!
Pascale, I love the way you cut the apples. I do the same for my kids lunches. Lop off the two faces and whack them together. No core, no dramas and they eat the lot. I eat the two orphan slices from the ends, because the kids think they are poison!
Love the video guys, to bad you couldn't have caught that fish. But man those berries and Apple's that sweet gal cooked up was beautiful m m good. Take care guys and be safe! 😎👍👍
It's not bad enough that you tempt me with abalone, Pascale, but then you have to torment me with the foraged-fruit crumble. Blast and drat! Joking aside, thanks much for another excellent episode. Fair winds and following seas.
Yaw need to do a cook book. Like real time time. And place them on the screen for us all to see what we missing. I hear I see but i need to read and think about it. So i can imagine the taste yeah mate.
I would like to thank you both for the wonderful respite that watching your amazing exploits brings from the madness of our ‘normal’ way of life. Nothing gets my pulse rate down so much as watching and listening to you two. And how much I have learned and been inspired! I have a question that I hope is one that you can find the time to answer...though I suspect that other avid subscribers of your channel might be able to help with. As I have happily watched your adventures from the start, I wondered about all the beautiful but shallow creeks that you navigated Mirrool into, particularly in the Kimberley. So: what do you think is the maximum draft that you think you could have gotten away with? I ask as I am looking at finding my own Mirrool.....thanks!
Another interesting vid ! Living your dream. In whatever yrs ahead wherever ya settle something tells me it will be on a boat even if it's tied to a dock. Yes for all the sailing folks ..their care home should be in sail boats tied to the dock. Care aids / nurse just go to the dif boats and say things like : How are you Mr & Mrs Smith ...I'm here to change your pampers...here is your pills.... Aged sailing folks do not want to go to a regular care home building do they ???? Ha! Nice to see creative and healthy cooking. God speed / and protection always from every evil.
Who doesn't love the amazing fresh fruits of Tasmania, not to mention a must-do walk through the Salamanca markets........ yum yum! Thanks for sharing. Waving from sunny Queensland.
really love how much you guys live off the land and sea. true sailors. Personally the best sailing and moments I have done are when I have had the least.
Pascal. you seem to really enjoy preparing unique meals using meager ingredients. Your smile is so cute and lets Troy know you are happy as you prepare meals.
"That's our favorite flavour; more." LOL. Pasky, that is a cute jumper in the last bit. Sorry, you guys didnt get to eat that tuna, I'd have loved to see Pasky's recipe for Tuna on the hook.
Jammer oor die Tuna maar ja dit gaan mos maar so party dae. Dit is altyd lekker om jul videos te kyk alles is ongekompliseerd geen van die kamera is op my drama nie net regte lewe en bekostigbaar. Baie Dankie
Good to see good fishing ethics. Fishing for food, not sport 👍🏻. Care for how you kill the fish 👍🏻. And not wanting to waste 👍🏻. Good example mate 👍🏻👍🏻
Glenmorangie? My fave. Livin' large! As far as the tuna goes, there is a chance that the tuna will survive. A lot of people, when they see blood coming from a fish, automatically assume that's it, game over. But, like we humans, fish have the ability to cauterize and live another day so unless you see blood being pumped out of the fish into the water, it may be okay.
Keep an eye out for great whites around Bruny Is. I was diving for crays in the early 70s at one end of Adventure Bay. At the same time a pro Ab diver by the name of Wally Slack was diving on hooker at the other end of the bay and was taken whole by a big great white shark. I guess the best advice is to do as you guys do and make your time in the water brief. I hope the refit is going well.
Oh geez. Thanks for that story Scot! To be honest we don't even think about them diving in the shallow kelp like that. I did jump in with a sea lion in the deeper water though (next week's video) and that was the first time it really crossed my mind.

Living with a gentle woman is a blessing. Bob

"And the best thing is there's more" 👍
Our Favourite Flavour
My respect for the respect you paid to the TUNA!
Well Capitan I may have said this before but I certainly can't say it enough, you have the most wonderful little mate in the world.
Every time that young lass cooks my mouth waters.
Ain't that the truth!
Its a wonder Troy doesn't weigh 250lbs
she makes me laugh the way she said "and there's more!"
There are a bunch of critters below that are taking advantage of the untimely demise of the tuna. I do like your sensibilities towards not wanting to waste life for no reason.
Bottom of the world, remote location, on a tiny 30 ft yacht. 5-Star Restaurant & Chef!! Congrats to both of you!! Thanks for sharing. Kudos
Damn,that crumble deserves a michelin star👍
A good cook is good for Morale. A great cook makes everything Wonderful
I had to admit I shed a tear or two over part of this week’s video............no, not about the Tuna, but the use of Glenmorangie for COOKING ! 😢😢 😀👍
Great filming in the first couple of minutes of that beautiful coastline. So agree with your sentiments about fishing for food and not for fun. All creatures should be respected. The apples and blackberries together was brilliant. Foraging and living like a king doing it. Too bad about the Tuna.
Love the quote from Snatch - classic film. Another great post guys.
Always interesting, thank you for filming, narrating, editing, thank you, Tony, thank you, Pascal, for you clever creative cooking skills :)
I think I could taste those apples and blackberries from here...TY for a fine video.
You're welcome Joseph. So glad you enjoyed this one. There are few more just like it that I'm putting together now before we start our refit!
Role models for the new world! Well done, yet again.
Yummy! I am salivating half a planet away. Gimme crumble!

Pascale, I love the way you cut the apples. I do the same for my kids lunches. Lop off the two faces and whack them together. No core, no dramas and they eat the lot. I eat the two orphan slices from the ends, because the kids think they are poison!
Simply the best sailing videos on the internet!
Organic Apples then wild Blackberries
My next thought CRUMBLE
Cheers Eric
You should try growing a apple trees with the seeds then as you travel u can plant a apple tree
I’m sure your loss of the tuna will be ‘something’ else’s gain. Boy, that crumble looked good!
Please Sir, can I have some more? (great videos like this).. Love the cooking, da tuna and the travels.
Ol t-roy has got it pretty good I'll say.. thanks for the great video! 😎
Now I'm hungry! Great video.
The Island reminds me of the Pacific Northwest Puget Sound area. Pick blackberries, rose hips, and apples.
Fair winds and following seas.
wonderful! it reminds me of Brittany last summer :) Mimi

We cruised on spots with 150mm under the keel so 1.34m was the max!
Yum! Just had lunch but it's still making me hungry! :-)
👍👍 I enjoy your videos. Thank you
Love love love
Loved to see you foraging, free food is so great, but I did wince when the Glenmorangie went in the pan! Sacrilege.
Hi, I have to guiltily confess I used to fast forward over the cooking segments, but with time I've found they have grown on me. You've won me over!
Another interesting vid !
Living your dream.
In whatever yrs ahead wherever ya settle something tells me it will be on a boat even if it's tied to a dock.

As Always!!! Great video, we all hope your video's are like your apple crumble, "there's more!"
More is definitely a good flavor. My other favorite is Free.
Pascale love the deconstructed apple crumble but I prefer the Glenmorangie neat
Who doesn't love the amazing fresh fruits of Tasmania, not to mention a must-do walk through the Salamanca markets........ yum yum! Thanks for sharing. Waving from sunny Queensland.

Pascal. you seem to really enjoy preparing unique meals using meager ingredients. Your smile is so cute and lets Troy know you are happy as you prepare meals.

The final part of this video really activated my salivary glands!

Did you do the southeast of Bruny up to adventure bay? Some of the most stunning cliffs and scenery I have seen.
Not yet!
Cold cold cold. Brave sailors. Brave Troy and Pascy.
Tasy has wild blackberries. I remember from the 70s.
Amazing video you guys; you outdid yourselves. I loved every second.
Great channel
Dam that crumble looked good.
Magnifique très belle vidéo, bonne navigation
Restaurant quality food in remote location. I love you guys !!!! Shout out from Houston, Texas !!!! Been watching from the beginning.
Glenmorangie? My fave. Livin' large!

I feel your pain, Troy... Beautiful old fish, that one. But, don’t mess with Pascal’s jam.
Cheers Hands, it was a sad day. We haven't put a trolling lure out since. Pascale
Get back on that horse!!!
I think we'll be ready once we're back out at sea again and this refit is over!!!
I really enjoy the cooking features. I am going to try that apples/blackberries crumble when the fruit ripens here. Thanks for posting!
I enjoyed it quite a bit actually and best thing is there is more!!!
you should really try sailing in the Northern Hemisphere to appreciate what you have - when a 7 or 10mm neoprene wetsuit still isn't enough ;-)
@Elhesh in canukistan we call it skinny dipping weather
Ah, what a good find, looks delicious!
What a good cook. I would definitely enjoy that. Stay well and happy. Safe travels.⛵
It looks like you had a few opportunities for a gaff shot, better luck next time.
Love the cooking segment! Awesome? Also--- sorry about the tuna. I felt your pain.
Love the sailing, love the fishing, love the foraging, love the cooking.
Pascal time for a cook book!
And yes i wave every time to you guys at the beginning, and now at the end! Lol
