💯 Take up the '100 Days of Sketching' Challenge here: keshart.in/100...
----------------
00:12 - Do it 100 Times
00:36 - Most artists are stuck at this phase.
01:15 - Why do we do it?
01:52 - Do this to Improve.
02:37 - What can we do?
#2minutetuesdays
TL;DR - You need an Action Habit and there's one 'RULE' you can follow to make It a reality (watch the vid)
But most(likely us), unfortunately wont take action on it.
How to start applying this?

Bro which animation app we can use for Android phones
You're actually one of the reasons why I started to draw again this year.
2:07 is when i realized what ur talking about i think, but I simplified it even more. Instead of do it 100 times, from now on I'll just think of it as "you didnt do it enough"
are you unhappy with how you draw feet? "you didnt study feet enough"
if u are bad at it you just didnt do it enough
i mean its kinda simple and obvious advice but now i feel like i understand it better when i put it like this idk. I already knew this but, now it kinda "clicked"
This is a very interesting way to flip the advice. I like it. I like it so much I'm going to steal it to shove into my brain as a reminder.
This was so helpful 🥺❤️ Thank you so much!!! It just made sense. Actually something really important that you pointed out
Gratitude and thank you for this Kesh, 10,000 errors, mistakes and or iterations >>> 10,000 hours to mastery. This is me resisting the reflex to mention that Bruce Lee 10,000 kicks quote. I shall just be like water and meander downstream eroding into what I cannot perceive in the present.
I love these series of videos so much. Great advice, funny, and respects my time ❤
Something else that I think could also be why most people browse info instead of implementing action to what they want to learn is because, arguably, browsing info is easy. While doing things hundreds of times sounds simple, it doesn't mean it's easy and sometimes there's people that don't realize when they're stuck on the easy route (or they're using educational content as an excuse to stay addicted - if they have other issues going on in their lives), because putting in the hard work can also mean taking risks and not being an impassive observer. As someone that sometimes does this to doom-scroll/video-surf mindlessly - moreso to be passive to relax my brain than to apply what I've learned - I wouldn't be surprised if it's not uncommon.
Imo, the best way to confront that is starting small (like a silly or scribbled sketch in a sketchbook and to do it without planning on uploading online/putting aside any electronics and printing out references), and work up to digital detoxing more to help prevent doom-scrolling, even if it's educational content (though if someone is addicted, then usually that has to do with deeper issues that need looking into).
Lol, you're totally talking to me 😆 It's nice to know other artists struggle with this same exact thing. It's especially hard in the social media day in age. Personally, I always want to turn anything I create into content so I'm not wasting time and I'm also growing my audience. But then that leads me to wanting each drawing to be perfect which ends up keeping me from practicing things I'm not good at. I saw the most improvement in my art during the pandemic when I was just tackling all the things I wasn't good at and practicing until I was. This video reminds me that I need to get back to that. Not everything needs to be a complete finished piece and not everything needs to end up online.
That's DEEP! Insightful! Damn GOOD perspective! Thanks!
Thank you 100 times!
1:00 - It's because we're passionate collectors (at least I am :D) and once we've acquired a particular course or learning material we feel a sense of accomplishment, like we've already reached a milestone. This is especially true if we've paid for it as well. x)
I am actually in this loop... I have a lot of tutorials...that I feel ashamed😅
I actually needed this video
Thankyou so much kesh
only 30 seconds in and i already know the video is good! thanks kesh!
Thanks for making these videos Kesh.....it helps me in the smallest bits and problems and get in art.❤❤
Yep i agree with those things great video as always
Man, I really need practice....... 100 times is pretty good thing. Even though now I'm making reasons that I couldn't be consistent, but I hope will do it soon to tell the truth!!
Thanks for the remainder🤗
This is why i watch you Kesh: Quick, Blunt, Correct & To The Damn Point! Anytime i find myself asking "what's next?", the answer is almost always, " Be like NIKE & JUST DO IT!". Keep up the good work and maybe one "they" will listen 🤷♂️, I've been listening and its the SIMPLE TRUTHS you speak of that have helped me the most.!!! 🙇
This makes so much sense 👏🏻
You’re amazing king thank u
I think that we constantly watch videos as collaboration. Life is so disjointed now, how do you get with other artists and share techniques? The internet. Yeah, do it a 100 times, but also watch a freak ton of videos and collaborate with the brave artists who share their work. Try it in different styles, learn and grow.
Even though I've been an artist for over 50 years, I still watch a lot of videos and learn a lot, incorporate what I learn into what I do.
Yup, practice what you have that will multiply your strength.
Faabbbbbbbbbb words, Kesh.. seriously, those words in my brain coming from you, which i always procastinate doing that practucing thing for more than 10 times... i always check tutorials or any online info so that i can upskill my drawing thing.. I will again try to do it not just for 100 times but until I get it right (the output what i wanted at the end). So, practice n practice n practice n so on until I get the final output❤ Thanqqqq😊
Yup I look at shadows around me and use that in my art.
Thank you so much
Thanks Kesh
Doing is great yes, I like doing + also finding new information. There's no point in finding new information and not applying it, at least when it comes to art. I learned that from art and productivity, do it, be messy, find what works and what helps. Find new info and find out if that helps or not. You cannot be efficient until you practice and figure out what needs to be improved, and that might take a lot of drawing or messing up. I will be "perfect", when I keep doing mistakes and learning from them, not perfect right away.
And yes, draw it 100 times can be the simple answer. I always thought of it more like 1000x but idk, numbers.

It's because doing takes effort, and learning is inherently a little painful.
When we used to be cavemen, we needed to put in as little effort as possible to save up the most energy to survive. It benefitted us to be a little lazy, for survival. The lizard brain we have now doesn't want us to experience the growing pains of learning, so we avoid it as much as possible. But, you have to remind yourself each time that the pain of not putting in work now is a tenth of the pain compared to what you're missing out on by avoiding that task. Get out of your head and try your best to put in some work. Overcome those barriers, I believe in you!
I’ll do it. I’ll draw kids illustration drawings 100 times starting today. I wish I could share my progress with you until I’m done Kesh. Will that be possible?
What a perfect final piece of information for one of my drawing questions 😜haha
I'm doing the damn thing as I listen to you! :D
Goddamit, fine! I’ll draw something 100 times! If I improve then that’s on you….and I hope your happy…..oooh, youtube has a ‘how to draw a straight line’ vid, must watch…I could learn something. 😂 Great vid Kesh and your right…it’s the simple things that make my life so hard. I know I should do them and I will get better but it’s the process of doing it. Thank you for this vid.
😂😂your literally speaking to me,
I have been overwhelmed with tutorials,ASSETS, alot😂
Am always downloading, my Archive worth 400GB Data.
Could you discuss more on how to develop a curriculum that would help one manage time and also be committed.
Presently am still at my final year of college .
I have been doing Art since I was kid ,I stopped and realized I was deeply in love with Art even while I stopped for a long time.
Coming back 2019 I fell in love with digital Art/3D and I have been crazy about it.
I am still yet to get a drawing tablet which had slowed my process.
And I get lost no being organized
Invested in countless tutorials instead of creating, trying to balance everything
College, basketball, 3D modeling, Animations, video editing, photo editing.
I feel like am going crazy
I feel like you are talking to me. LOL!!
this is a Great Video!
Remind me after 100 days I will start from today
Got you to 1k likes 😊
This is exactly the kind of problem I'm going through 😅
For a moment I thought you were personally talking to me because I’m actually wearing full face makeup and watching your video😂😂
How to do character design for comic? How to draw characters from diffrent angles? How to make a comic?
I am sure if you do a Google or UA-cam search based on your specific questions you'll find the answer you're looking for.
Yay new video
so PRACTICE all of everything
can you make a video about more ideas for fill up a SketchBook
Love your videos man, thank you for your hard work and kindness 🫶🏻
When I hit the like button it was exactly number 101. 😂
I hit like at 600 lol 😅😂
Deep down inside, I know that. What you don't mention is the addictive nature of UA-cam tutorials, courses, Patreon, and art supplies reviews etc. -which you're part of. But unlike others, you often tell the naked truth.
With this video, I GOT THE MESSAGE in the clearest possible way, Therefore I'm today going to start doing what I know very well I should (re)start with.
When enough basic daily practice shall have brought me back to the level of skill and confidence I ALSO KNOW I NEED, then I'll probably do your "100 Day Program to Learn Drawing and Tell Stories with your Art in 30 Mins/day" to thank you for your frankness.
I also just finished trimming my UA-cam subscription list to the bare essentials, and you're included. I will from now on only go on YT once a week to check my notifications and will avoid their "homepage/feed" like the plague. THANK YOU. 👍
I wish I could like this video for 100 times!
YOU ARE RIGHT!! THIS IS TRUE
Siiiiigh.
Alright. I'll do it one hundred times.
You've been living inside my head, haven't you? How else would you know the exact things I tell myself when I'm looking for those new pieces of information or new tools.
You are right........👽
Wich app we can use for android phone for animation

Please help peoples who want to draw in digital...
Hi
Sir I am learning hand drawn animation doo you have any suggestions for me?...
Learn the core fundamentals and apply that knowledge by making a simple exercises. Find references that you like and analyze the movement, lightning, themes used in the clips, etc. All in all, start small. Don't aim to create hyper realistic dragon animations if you have never opened animation software.
Would love to meet you someday. You talk like my internal monologue.
Hi, big fan. I am a young artist. mostly do comics and cartoon drawings taking lot of inspiration from you. Your works are great. Can you please help me buid my own art style.

@@krsn_cp You would need to find a shadow library of your choose. For obvious reasons I can't paste those links here, because youtube removes such comment.
What is this witchery? Why do you always know with what I am currently struggling? Get out of my mind, goddammit! 😅
Hey ☺️ I am so much inspired by you that I made my own channel and should probably checked out because I mentioned you in the featured and in the description of my channel. My channel's name is my art journey
