Stallone killed Van Damme to easy. If I was Van Damme I would never agree to get my ass whopped that fast. I know it's a Stallone movie but come on. Van damme needed a longer fight scene against Stallone. I will always find that fight to be disrespectful to Van Damme.

I think JCVD would have been completely lost and swallowed up in Hollywood if it wasn't for his incredible friend who went way above and beyond for him. It is truly unreal. I bet JCVD regrets how he disrespected Chuck! I'm quite surprised hearing that, especially with how much desire and determination JCVD led us to believe he had for Hollywood stardom. Without Qissi, it simply wouldn't have happened. How could JCVD ever fall out with this man? It is beyond comprehension to me. What fascinating stories. I could listen to these stories all day from Mohammed Qissi. It's a pity JCVD couldn't have been a bit more honest because I think the truth (as told by Mohammed Qisi) is even better.

Maybe the mentorship would'ev saved JCVD from his drug use, mixing with the wrong crowd that lead him into his downfall. That's something to think about besides whatever JCVD is better than Chuck. This is not about that no doubt JCVD was meant for greater things but JCVD was lacking a mentor to help him avoid the wrong path he lead to his decline in the box office in the late 90's. The people Chuck mentored in different ways never led to any drug use or anything, I like both JCVD and Chuck but JCVD isn't perfect he seems like a hard working person who's decent but can be distracted when he isn't focused that leads to him making alot of regretful mistakes on his part. I mean, he's really kind of an employee - but obviously he wasn't treated that way & his presence was appreciated. However Van Damme was still young here and probably trying to juggle allot stuff at once & trying to make a name for himself, along with capitalizing on the availability of the local single girls ! So my thing is this, Van Damme is supposedly a martial artist according to Sensei Norris but that's just Sensei Norris being gracious and nice like how Silva was with Seagal about the famous front kick that Seagal supposedly taught Silva and Silva was just kind of like yea, he taught me blah blah. Now, I have my black belt in UFAF (United fighting arts federation by Chuck Norris), my question is, what fucking karate style did Van Damme study if at all? There's zero technique, zero defense and no form of self-defense and his offense is solely base off of a spinning split kick because it would never work, you'd have to be a literal punching bag to land that. Just sloppy all around, none of his kicks have snap or pop and even the way he throws them are the equivalent of an arm punch, no power. Just winging it. I don't know but I really believe Sensei Norris is just being very nice when it comes to Van Damme. Van Damme definitely had the look of a star to be, the body the flexibility and all that but zero martial arts training if you ask me. Can it be just basic tang soo do with a Van Damme take over or something?
