I’ve always found this game to be DBZ’s best video game adaptation, with the chaining of attacks reminiscent of DMC3 in terms of timing and steps. Truly would love an up to date version, but in the mean time I’ll dust off my PS2 and play!
Those attack/ki charge/super buffs z items aren't really optimal.. You can only increase every stat by 3 parts, I assume this is still in effect when you fuse, therefore you gain no extra damage, and not a lot of extra ki charge speed/B2/UB attack power, or am I wrong?

It's a stronger beam. The one from the previous form, Frieza's, Tien's beam etc.. are not that strong and get instant damage from Big Bang attack

These are TASs, not necessarily perfect runs. He had super armor for that attack so it didn't matter.
