100% agree with ya on the trigger comparison. The smooth face on the Dagger is so much nicer compared to a stock tabbed Glock trigger, and mine has smoother in to where it’s a nice roll-through with no stacking. I treat it like a shorter DA trigger and it’s much more shootable that way than treating it like a single action striker for instance. Personally the Dagger trigger to me is significantly superior to the stock Glock trigger in almost every way. Looking forward to the range review, and knew I had to watch as soon as I got the notification! 👌🏻
If the gun isn’t reliable during your range session, it is probably due to those P Mags. I had a Shadow Systems MR918 that had all kinds of feeding problems when I first shot it. I couldn’t figure it out. Then I put in a factory Glock mag, and it ran fine. It sounds great that they gave you that many mags, but in my experience, they are pretty worthless. Anyway, I appreciate your videos. My goal wasn’t to criticize the gun. I am sure it woks fine, but it needs quality magazines. Keep up the good work. I look forward to your next video.
I appreciate the comments. So far, mine has run more than 500 rounds using the P-Mags without a single failure. I'll be watching for the next 500 rounds.
Thanks for the great informative video. Just got mine with an Extreme Carry Cut Doctor slide, raised sights and threaded barrel, I think the same model as yours but in black for $329+ tax n shipping with 2 mags. It will be my first pistol I’m excited to try it out.
Another commenter said he got his holster off Ebay. My go-to holster company is Muddy River Tactical. (I've done a review on their holsters - great, fast shipping.) They list the Dagger as one model their holsters will fit. Also, a quick Google search shows them available from We The People and CYA Supply. Palmetto State Armory also has some on their website.
That is not true at all, bro I don’t know who keeps telling me lies but it’s not true that’s a complete stock lower parts kit promise you I’m not playing I built more than one gun
Operative phrases in my reply: "could be" and "I think", neither of which is definitive, or a lie, only my opinion. But thanks for watching and adding your info.
PSA has sales several times a year where the frame costs 50 bucks and the complete Slides get reduced in price as well. So you can mix and match whatever colors you want. For the Labor day sale, I ordered a Green frame, FDE SW1 slide, with a threaded barrel, suppresor sights, RMR cut, as well as a couple Glock brand Glock mags. (a regular 15 round mag plus a 33 round happy stick) all for under 400 including tax and shipping. Daggers litterally can't be beat from a bang for the buck gun that is actually worth a damn.
Looks like a neat spin on a Glock, not too wild about the side cut outs for the mag & should have straight grip. I think i'd rather opt for a used G19. When you said it came with 10 mags I did a spit take.
I carried a Glock of one model or another for 24 years, so I have nothing against Glock and I still own many, but the Dagger feels better in my hand than any Glock. Thanks for watching.
$ 200 cheaper same/similar reliability… same mags .. most psa come with suppression high sights … cut out on bottom of mag thing for psa makes it 10x easier to remove a stuck cmag then u get slide cuts 😬 idk man i that point kinda like paying for the name isn’t it?
I saw the 10 mags deal. I also saw that PSA sold their PSA GF-3 AK47 for $759. So when I saw the AK-47/PSA dagger combo for $799 I snagged it. Of course the last time I saw this deal was last December. They do sell a AR/Dagger bundle still.
10 mags! You mentioned your Canik TP9SFx which got me scrolling through your videos for a review of a Canik Mete MC9, another budget alternative. A lot of reviews out there for them. You think budget guns are smart money in the long run?
With the right "budget" gun - Canik, PSA, Taurus, Sarsilmaz - the only concern I would have is longevity - how long it will run before something breaks. Considering how much most folks shoot, guns by any of those manufacturers shouldn't be a problem, but the jury is still out whether or not most will hold up to 50+ thousand rounds. The only company I know of that has done longevity testing is Sarsilmaz (imported through SAR USA) testing the SAR9 to 50,000 rounds. So far, I've been very happy with my SAR9 Mete.
@@RidersRange Exactly. It's all about component quality. Unless you're a collector, buy the best you can afford especially considering the purpose of this tool.
@leoephrem4889 so long as they are made for the double stack Glocks like the 17, 19, and 26, they will work perfectly. Just don't try to put in single stack Glock mags like ones for the 43X as they won't work or fit.
I staked my life on a Glock of one model or another for 24 years, so I can't knock them. But I agree, they have rested on their laurels while others have innovated. Thanks for watching.
Idk, the gun just looks cheap. Whether it's reliable or not, subconsciously, the gun looks cheap to me preventing me from using this in form of defense.
I don't believe it looks any "cheaper" than a Glock. Nothing against Glocks - I carried on for the final 24 years of my LE career - but they are called "Tupperware" guns for a reason.
I doubt a knucklehead that invaded your home is going stop and say, “Hey,Dude! Before I beat the crap outta you! “How much did you pay for that gun?! It looks cheap!” Not trying to be a comedian.
I believe you are the second person to make that comment out of the 3.5 million views my channel has had since I started it more than four years ago. I've learned that I can't please everyone, but with more than 20,000 subscribers, I must be doing something right. Anyway, thanks for watching and taking the time to comment.
As long as you can control the gun while wearing gloves, why not? I have been trying a variety of gloves and plan a video on wearing gloves for shooting in the colder months. Stay tuned.

As always, thank you for watching and adding your thoughts.
Awesome run down on the Dagger. Always enjoy watching others’ reviews. I like the Dagger line up minus the grips finger groove. Good video.
Thank you for watching and commenting. I see you did some "Dagger Talk" a year or so ago.
Solid content! My Dad and me both enjoy your review videos
Thank you for watching and commenting.
Excellent introductory review! Just ordered one today. Prices have increased a little since the time of this video
Mine is accurate and was 291 shipped after tax with a mag and a 60 dollar case and lock included less than 300 tax and shipping is amazing
Looks like you got a very nice deal.
Nice review. Can wait to hear what your opinion is after shooting
So far, 100% reliable. Range review in the works. Thanks for watching.
Great video review!! Very informative.

Been running p mags for a long time and never had any issues.
PSA pmag deals are the best lately. 200rds of 300blk + 10 pmags for 200 is too good to pass up
hickok45 is that you? 😂
Hmmm.....thanks for that. But Hickok45 is taller and has an accent.
You sound like a mix between Ayoob and Hickok 🤪I would say that with 10 mags for that price is awesome
$299 for Black Friday 2023. Seems like a solid deal.
$250 right now
yepp its an amazing deal
@strawberrymochiiz, thanks for watching.
309 plus tax I’m grateful 💫💯and I like that it comes kitted out for a good price.

One of the best values on the market. Thanks for the mention.
I have to remember the name change for your channel. As always, thanks for watching.
Very informative video Rider. Well done sir
Once again, thank you for watching and commenting.
Looking forward to your range review! Good video.
Range review is in the works. Thanks for watching.
Loveeee my dagger compact. Can’t really tell much a difference between that and my Glock.
Nice looking gun, never heard of 10 mags with a gun,,,,
Okay, they are MagPul P-Mags, but they sure beat the single mag that most Kimbers ship with. Thanks for watching.
Awesome review! Man, you sound exactly like hikok45 😂
Thank you for watching and commenting.
I think the dagger is a good gun for a good price.
I love mine, but some people are complaining about the firing pan breaking which I didn’t keep a stock firing pin in mine anyway😂
what did you replace it with?
They do look nice and that price is unreal. Wanting to see you shoot it and see if PSA fixed the roll pin for the trigger that notoriously backs out
500 rounds so far. Range review shortly.
@@RidersRange glad to hear it is behaving 👍🏻
Craft holster makes a great dagger holster that has options if you have a light or red dot. Long wait time tho
Good to know. Thanks.
I have two of them and love shooting them.
Thanks for watching.
My sisters S&W mp is nice but i like my dagger compact better, best pistol it's amazing.
Thanks for watching and adding your thoughts.
…also wondering if holster availability has picked up for these.

Some folks say these come with a minus connector already in them. I don't know if that's true or not.
That could be, though I think the issue is with a light striker spring, which also helps lighten the trigger pull.
That is not true at all, bro I don’t know who keeps telling me lies but it’s not true that’s a complete stock lower parts kit promise you I’m not playing I built more than one gun

Absolutely interesting pistol with a range review hopefully turns out a true bargain.
Range review in the works. Thanks for watching.
That is a great deal on that package.
Yes, it is. Thanks for watching.
Where you get all that for under 400? I was going to order one from psa and they want 459.00. still a great deal.r
I just happened to catch a sale directly from PSA.
@@RidersRange nice

Got my holsters from Warhorse holsters a bunch of different light choices
Thanks for the info.
On the PSA Dagger does it have a 1911 grip angle or is it the same Glock grip angle?
That looks like a heck of value firearm🙂.
Hmmm.....I'll have to put my angle gauge on it, but it feels like a Glock.
@@RidersRangeit’s more like a 1911. The grip angle is much better on a Dagger than Glock.
Glock.pattern Pmags are around 12 bucks. Sometimes less...
Good point.
Can you make a video on how you lubbed it?
I probably could, but it lubes just like a Glock.
What a great deal.
Thanks for watching.
My big issue is cant switch the mag release. Ebay has affordable holsters for the dagger and the psa rock as well.
More engineering, therefore more cost. I'm guessing sticking with the original Glock Gen3 basics was a financial decision. Thanks for watching.
Don’t use those mags man get Glock oems
For competition or defensive carry, I agree. But for casual range use or training, these work fine.
Question, can you also use the higher capacity Glock magazines in the dagger?

Lmao what? It’s a gun review. What did you expect? 10 minutes of silence? He talks a normal amount for a review video.
You are a far more gracious man than him. You are a gentleman !
You must do great reviews without talking
What do you think about shooting a Glock with gloves on ? Is it safe ?
