Your channel has been so good all year! I look forward to your videos and am trained to click over now when they pop up while I'm watching something else. Oh my, your disclaimer about your experience with e.l.f. foundation products was like preaching to a choir for me! I HATE their base products. They are so, so unattractive in texture on my face. You're right the Satin is the least bad by far. Granted, I'm a bad foundation test subject because I always put any pigment/base product on over 1/4 of sunscreen, and most of my sunscreens are high % of zinc oxide, which generally makes all skin look like trash, even when tinted. But even the rare times I wore the e.l.f. camo creams at night, in smaller amounts, with no sunscreen underneath, they are SO heavy on the skin and make me look thickly made up and worn-out. Your review of this new one is inspiring from someone who shares my views of ELF foundations! Thank you
It looked really pretty on you! I don’t think I will pick this up since I have other foundations I really like. Foundation is one category I can skip buying the latest drop with no problem. I am waiting to finish two before getting the Prada and Guerlain foundations. Your eye shadow was GORGEOUS!!!❤
The only elf foundation I loved was the acne fighting foundation, but sadly discontinued. I hated the camo Foundation, and I might try this, but I have too much foundation.
Same, though I think their camo powder foundation is okay as a powder foundation. Even their concealers that so many rave about, just don't do it for me.
I bought it at walmart on Monday. I wear fair neutral 13 with the power grip primer under it. It dies great for me and I live in louisiana. But I have normal to dry skin.
I think it's a great foundation. I'm wearing it now and was just outside sweating my brains out prying my side door open after a screw got lose and door was jammed and it still looks decent. I have combo skin and it's not bad for me.
Still plenty of time. 😃 I'm sure they'll come to Ulta and in stores soon. It was nice. Not long lasting but great for people with Normal to Dry skin, I think.
Very good review! I appreciate your thoroughness. Elf face products don't work for me. They are too drying on my mature dry skin. I'm new to your channel, and I will be back. Thank you!
Hi gorgeous, thanks for the video!😊 I also picked up the foundation, I‘m excited to try it out. I only ordered it yesterday. I got a very similar skin type and I love the flawless satin foundation too, it‘s my favourite by elf but I don‘t like the scent, does this one smell at all? Take care🤗
I would give you all the dets, but I hope instead you stay tuned for my upcoming Best Matte Foundations for combo/oily skin in nasty a$$ humid weather video that's coming VERY SOON. 😃
That's a good guess, but no, I am wearing a single from Kaima Cosmetics and 2 mattes from the Reckless palette from Saints Angels Sinners x Calvin Brockingham palette.
I'm wearing it right now. Has been on for about 5 hours now, live in central FL and was just killing myself outside prying my side door open because screw got jammed, dripping sweat, and I have combo skin and can sweat off a full face of makeup while I sleep, and the foundation still looks pretty good on me. It's not matte, and it's not the best in FL climate, but it's not the worst.
Im looking at this foundation with great interest, but find it difficult to choose a shade. I'm normally in the fair range, but since they only have a couple of fair shades, it makes me think it may be too light. Are you normally in the fair range with foundations?
I usually choose light shades or ivory type shades. I mixed 2 shades here but could have easily gotten away with the light 20 shade which was light with cool undertones.

Love seeing all the new videos almost daily. So exciting. Also love the eyeshadow!!
I love this foundation! It wore on me for 10 hours! I have normal skin. WTG Elf! 😊
I can’t wait to get mine, I ordered as soon as it was launched and it’s not getting here until Monday, I live in Tampa. It looks pretty on you!
I'm surprised. They shipped mine from GA and I got it next day. We are so close.

I ordered it from elf. I hope it works out good but if not it’s only 8 bucks. Worth the chance

I wish I could wear the Flawless Finish Elf foundation..I love how it looked and performed but couldn't tolerate the fragrance. 😭
I hear a lot of people say that. Surprisingly, I've never noticed a fragrance in any of their other base products, so why that one?
Thanks for the video it really helps!❤

@@KariMeghan I love it.
I cried when they discontinued the Serum Foundation, that was my absolute favorite
I never tried that. But I do hate when brands discontinue some of what I consider their vest products. Why???
I was thinking of ordering this but never did 😅 still interested to try

Elf complexion products just don't work for me. I'm too oily and they look heavy. Great review though!
I can’t use Elf complexion products as they break me out. One day when I’m feeling adventurous I might try this one! ❤
Same! Its really sad cause so many of them are good…
Oily skin twins! I do the same in summer i set my foundation with the elf camo powder foundation, we are definitely on the same wavelength 😂🤩
Love that! I've never heard of anyone else who sets their summer makeup with powder foundation like me. 👍
@@KariMeghan I find its better than a setting powder because it holds up the makeup really well ensuring I don’t look like a melting candle 😂

I did forget to mention that in the video. NO SCENT AT ALL on this one. 😀
Did you notice any oxidization? I'm about to purchase but I'm fearing that dreaded orange cast that happens with some foundations.
Didn't notice any oxidation with this. Have been wearing it pretty regularly since I purchased it.
Btw…new subscriber☺️
Well, hello & welcome! Glad to have you. ❤️
SO for someone who is also paler, has combo skin and wants longwear foundation. What is your top 3 drugstore foundation rec?
I would give you all the dets, but I hope instead you stay tuned for my upcoming Best Matte Foundations for combo/oily skin in nasty a$$ humid weather video that's coming VERY SOON. 😃
Are you wearing Divine Rose 2 eyeshadow?
That's a good guess, but no, I am wearing a single from Kaima Cosmetics and 2 mattes from the Reckless palette from Saints Angels Sinners x Calvin Brockingham palette.
I live in Florida and this one doesn't hold up well in hot humid weather.
That looks very pretty…of course your complexion was pretty before makeup
😊 😊 thank you!!
