Love all the properties you guys portray on this channel, I just wish you guys would make green spaces and plant trees as in comparison to the west we need to understand that trees are beneficial to us humans and the grass is good for the kids to play even adults to get the chairs outs and sit while sipping on a cocktail.

Actually that house is dumb sorry I’m leaving this review, yes I have lived in many countries before . Okay let start, the kitchen draws is very tall, that lady is almost 5’10 she couldn’t top that draws, she said it herself it is too tall. And what’s up with all the white colors, kitchen is too small with a dangerous stair cases with sharp railings, tiles on the stairs is slippery and too dangerous .

Beautiful white interior. I was make some changes to the structure. I personally like an open floor design bc it makes the space seem larger.... knock that wall down to the kitchen (if its not load bearing) and low mount floating cabinetry from the ceiling that was on that wall. For that small space on the second floor that can be used as an office nook, I would put a floor to ceiling window for some natural lighting or a moonlight window on the ceiling.

@@racqueenus when you buy real estate, you shouldn't be so concerned with the actual house, but the community that the house is in. You can have a great house, but if it's located in or near a crime ridden or poorly serviced area, then that's not a good investment of your money.

By US standards, the finish and design is off. The doorways are too small. Too much white tile - imagine trying to keep it all clean. Also, you can see the construction finish is not very well done. Otherwise, I guess it's ok for a developing country. I would want to know what the overall neighborhood is like within in a 10 km radius.
Mr Man this is no were near your US wooden house standard. This is brick from foundation to finish.
@@TheDesmond33 Sir, the construction materials itself is grossly irrelevant. Especially, since not all US homes are built with wood frames. Furthermore, solid brick construction adds very little to the value of the property. It's apparent you're struggling to understand real estate investing. Design and finish are key or else people would live in cheap, unfinished, cinder block structures.
Fortunately it's not in the US. There is a reason for using a neutral color. It allows for personal touch. Tiling is somewhat old fashion but it's done to reduce the impact to hit temperature. The finishings are fine for the price of the house. The value of a land is generally 60-70% location based and 30-40% finishing and structure. The house would cost the same to build in your village and Lagos. But would cost more in Lagos because of location. By us Standard this house will not sell for less than $150- $200k in a comparable neighborhood. So by US standard it great value for the money. Not perfect but good for the price. (By the way I am typing from the US....)

Beautiful property... however, these interlocked compounds do not allow rainwater absorb into the ground as quickily as normal soil. Trees are uprooted and there are no trees to absorb groundwater either. Multiply this by 1,500 houses and it is easy to see why the Island is exclusively a flood basin

I think it would be nice in your next videos if u make the building and details of the property the focal point in the video and not yourself. The videos seems to make you the figure point in them whereas it should be what u are selling which is focusing the video on those details u talk about and going into those rooms and not just pointing to them. People wanna see those details. Just adding a point that I think would help better in future videos. Great job though and keep it up.
You can never go wrong with white or cream color and white doors, throw in a lush carpet with a huge TV and some over sized sectional sofa maybe a lazy boy recliner as well and some paintings on the wall lol imagination running wild.

Lekki overpriced houses have a huge downsize. Just one single major road leading to the place. Heavy traffic and no future road expansion. Flooding is another huge problem. It doesn't worth N40 million naira when no good road for an apartment called duplexes. If you don't work for the money as they often do in Nigeria. One sugar daddy can give triple that amount for a weekend romp with a lady; then, you don't see no road as a huge problem and flooding as big issues. Where are the jobs or employment to support N40millions naira home investment doing what in Lagos? Which company paid N40 million naira per/annually in Lagos? How many of such company?

Take away the island cabinets in the kitchen, it is unnecessary and takes up too much space. It makes the narrow kitchen look more smaller and cramped. Other than that the house looks nice, like the other comments suggest, show the other houses next time

Jokes apart , kitchen is too small with a high cupboards, that lady is almost 5”10 and she couldn’t reach the top of the cupboard. an average Nigerian lady height is like 5’2 , the kitchen is women, well they might need a ladder. Okay what’s up with the slipper tiles on the stair case. I think that’s too dangerous on a wet day. Okay the whole house is small.

Confidence it seems that you took the comments as constructive criticism to perfect your hustle. I humbly say that 5 minutes is rushed & skips much of the properties. When the properties shifted from Ikota to Ajah & slowed down to over 20 minutes it was to long. Now it seems that you've got the right balance in the middle. If the channel is monetized, I hear that 10 minutes is a lucrative minimum time for a video. I love your videos & the properties , but sometimes it's difficult to see how big the rooms are on camera. Urban Prime seems to do great construction, but the only room that appears to accommodate king size beds are the Masters. May I share some logic behind this? Anyone with grown children living at home need bedrooms large enough to accommodate King or at least Queen size beds. I also don fell that small children require an ensuite bathroom. It seems that I may be forced to buy a serviced plot & build my own home, in which case I would have 2 bedrooms share a bathroom that would either service the loft space/second livingroom or do a Jack & Jill Bathroom which is constructed between & for semi exclusive use of bedroomsts. Ioften comment about the need for a bathtub because it's a MUST for me & it's the standard for most potential clients in Diaspora. If I buy a pre built home, I may have to go for one with a Madame's bedroom to ensure that I get a bathtub & 2 large bedrooms with enough closets. Sometimes builders even construct homes with 2 Masters. Anyway this is my price range. I hope to see more homes around $100K USD that are well equipped & I love the homes that you showed in Ikota. Has Ikota gone out of style? Rentals are temporary while home purchases are permanent & need to be comfortable. I wish I could work with developers.
