    Hello Bosch, I'm staying at my parents and on first use their Series 4 machine didn't put any water at all into the condensation container. It was a 2-3kg load, which had first been double spun by a washing machine prior to going into the tumble drier. Felt damp to the touch before going in, enough (we thought) for at least a cup or two of water to reach the container - yet not a drop! It's not plumbed in to empty into a drain. Many thanks.

      Hi Andrew, thank you for getting in touch. Water will end up in this appliance's container, but on first use it was a small load with a less moisture than the standard load, as everything would have been dry such as the exchanger in the bottom right, there may not have been enough water to get through into the condensation container.
      We would advise a larger load and seeing what the results are after this, if it continues then we would advise getting in touch with our customer services. www.bosch-home.co.uk/customer-service/contact-us - Thanks Brett

      @@BoschHomeUKandIreland thanks Brett, we wondered as much :) Is there a chance some condensation escaped as steam into the room, or is it a fully enclosed - moisture tight - system?

    • @BoschHomeUKandIreland
      @BoschHomeUKandIreland  Рік тому +1

      Hi Andrew, there shouldn't be much steam released from the machine, but yes sometimes there may be the feeling of warm moisture in the air as it is not completely airtight, in certain sections.
      Let us know how the next load goes! - Brett

      On second use (bigger load), the condensation container has water in, thanks. Never a dull moment.

    at 1:36 you use an accessory as an insert to the screw cap on the waste pipe, (for the hose to fit onto), please can you tell me the range of sizes of the screw cap that the accessory will fit?

      Hi, the accessory is a standard size and will fit into most drainage pipes. Thanks Charlotte.

    which models support it please? We have WTW87467CS but I don't see any option like that - is there any way how to avoid pulling out the container? Thanks!

      Hello, thanks for reaching out to us with your query. Unfortunately, this option is not available for model WTW87467CS, I'm sorry to say, as this is a non-UK model which has now been discontinued. This option would be available for the majority of our current range of condensing tumble dryers. Thanks - Claire

    Just got my first tumble dryer. Followed pretty much the steps using the drainage kit. Done a couple of dries now, and even though it seems to be draining down my waste, water still seems collect in the condensation chamber. Is this normal?

      @BoschHomeUKandIreland  3 роки тому

      Hi, thank you for getting in touch. We would advise that all the steps in the install guide for setting this up to drain would need to be completed to stop any water making it to the condenser drawer. If this has been done and the issue does continue, please contact us on 03448928979 or on social media @BoschHomeUK

    Hello, my tumble dryer has recently started to stop after a while of drying and the logo flashes for emptying the condensation container. However, there isn't that much water in it. I then have to re-start the drying again. I always regularly empty the condensation container after each cycle and clean the lint filter. I have also cleaned the heat exchanger and the sensor and kept the garden door open for ventilation in the room. Why is it stopping when the clothes are not yet dry? It usually happens when there are towels in but the problem did not occur for three years and only recently has started. Do I need to drain the water as shown in the video? I have a condenser tumble dryer.

      Did you find a solution to this? Currently having the same issue

    • @MissRedDevil7
      @MissRedDevil7 Рік тому +1

      @Hammany Khali The solution is to dismantle the tumble dryer and clean all the fluff in places where you can’t normally reach. The following video helped:
      m.ua-cam.com/video/EJjd7iJoFTQ/v-deo.html
      My dryer has worked since I did this and it saved me paying over £100 for an engineer to come and do the same thing.

      Hi, A lot of not drying issues are caused by under-loading, or items being put in damp, instead of wet. If items are only partially drying, we would recommend either putting in more items, or using the "timed program" function to manually set a drying duration. Thanks - Craig

    hmm done all that and still the drawer has water not as much mine you. The drain pipe is working just thought there be zero water in the drawer is it because the dryer wasn't level ?

      Hi, Self cleaning condensor models do retain some water at the end of the cycle, top be used for cleaning in the next cycle. As long as the water level remains mostly consistent, this is normal. Thanks - Craig

    Water is leaking from bottom of the container. Why?

    • @BoschHomeUKandIreland
      @BoschHomeUKandIreland  2 роки тому

      Hi, if water is leaking from your container area, please assess the install/setup guide of your models user manual that the drawer is correctly set up. If this is a continuing issue, please arrange an engineer assessment.
