They 100% did, it's not as if they didn't have the ability to protect the leaked texts after they were 'accidentally' shared. The prosecution even asked if they wanted that information retracted and they didn't respond. The lawyers are risking being disbarred, there's a good chance they will be but that is the level of scum they were tasked to defend and I guess they just couldn't stomach helping Alex Jones continue his nonsense.

Yeah..”accidentally” sure. More likely his lawyers realized Jones was going to commit purjury and immediately distanced themselves from being included in something that could lead to ethics charges or disbarment against them.
I agree, the plaintiff's lawyers have already asked the judge to sanction Jones and his lawyer which she stated will be addressed after the judgement is in.
Or another possibility, that his attorneys did this on purpose, Jones fires the lawyers, and his new attorneys will appeal the verdict due to ineffective council.
That seems plausible
Um. I'm pretty sure that:
1) if the lawyers have clearly recommended that Jones not commit perjury, they're pretty safe. If they recommended that he commit perjury, that's when they're gonna get disbarred, in which case sending the messages intentionally would be incredibly stupid.
2) Also sending the messages, for any reason, might merit disbarment, but even without it could be a career-ending move, because it completely destroys their credibility. Like who would want to hire a lawyer that intentionally ruins their client, or just can't handle confidential information?
My money says the lawyers are tech inept boomers who legit messed up. Or maybe they asked a temp or an intern to send it, and that person messed up. Regardless of who, I can't see anyone intentionally sending it. The repercussions are just too severe.

Some people have said that this was done intentionally to create a mistrial. I'm a retired attorney and haven't done a trial in decades, but I don't believe it creates a mistrial. (Although I don't know what the case law is in that state on the issue). Logically, it shouldn't be a mistrial though because if that was all it took to get a case thrown out of court that it would in his attorney's interest to do this so they could have a kind of win. Second, in discovery your lawyers MUST turn over all evidence that they have. If his attorneys had not turned over these emails and it came out afterward they withheld evidence, they would not only be disbarred but also face criminal prosecution.
His defense attorneys should be disbarred for hiding evidence. It seems like his attorneys might have known about all of this evidence and failed to turn it over. Basically lying.
Nice
In Texas there is a 10 day period that you could take possession of the evidence you sent by mistake but after 10 days it is in possession of the other attorney and you can do nothing. This would not create a mistrial in Texas but in other states it is possible 🤷🏼♂️
This answers my question before I even asked. Thanks!
@@justingettler1324 Not sure if that rises to level of disbarment, but they would be disciplined. The worst example of a human. He made millions off of the deaths of children. He cared nothing of the unspeakable pain of those children's parents and loved ones. And now he is trying to make a mockery of the court and still making millions off of his trial on his talk show. There is no consequence sufficient on this earth for what he has done. We will have to be content that real justice comes when he meets his maker. And to all the tools who drool over AJ, God is waiting to have a word with you as well. Good luck with that.
And he just won't be quiet, he has to keep pushing the envelope to try and garner more publicity in order to continue to profit off of this tragedy. Karma will catch up to him.
