    You can lay down some quality Mig welds with this machine. I have the push pull gun for Aluminum but it would of been nice to have that AC feature for Tig welding Aluminum. One other thing that would be nice is a fitting for 100% Argon and another fitting for your CO2/Argon bottle instead of switching hoses. I can probably plum it in and put a splitter with a switch to go from bottle to bottle.

    The couple people I know who have bought them are going back to the 211 and 212. As for me, I’ll keep my 212 and Spoolmatic 30a. Although, I’m thinking about upgrading to the new gun with the ball joint.

    • @BakersGas
      @BakersGas  5 років тому +1

      Are you talking about the new MDX gun? As for the 211/212 those do not really compare to the Multimatic 255. The Miller 211 and 212 are MIG only machines. This machine is capable of MIG (yes even pulse MIG), TIG and Stick welding. Also this machine has a digital interface that the 211 and 212 do not have. We appreciate the originals as well but this machine truly will do a lot more and has some unique features! Let us know if you have more questions we are happy to help!

Los políticos y los gobiernos como gusanos en la letrina se comen lo que a la gente que los elige le quitan. How does this machine stack up against the Millermatic 252? I've been using an old mm 252 for about 4 years now, i've liked it. how does this compare in terms of duty cycle, mig welding material thickness capabilities?

      200 A at 28 VDC, 60% duty cycle
      250 A at 28 VDC, 40% duty cycle
      Miller Multimatic 255:
      MIG: 230 A at 25.5 V, 60% duty cycle

    Talk about a worthless piece of junk machine. 3 grand for a multi process machine that can't even tig out of the box n isn't even a ac/dc machine n doesnt do hf start tig n you have to buy a plug. Miller needs to scrap this junk n start over

    • @BakersGas

      @@BakersGas I'm sure the mig n stick functions would suit people looking for a mig or stick machine but miller is claiming a multi process machine then cutting corners on the tig side of it. Now I'd love to see you guys review the everlast 252 sti in the long-term cuz there's so many mixed reviews about it. What I really want is a good, reasonably priced 250 amp mig setup that does spoolgun n 250 amps of ac/dc tig so I can learn tig on steel n aluminum n still have mig when I need it in a machine that's gonna live well past it's warranty. If you have any suggestions for a machine that does that besides the everlast I'd be open to looking into it

      John, what type of NEMA plug should be attached to a multi-voltage system that does 208V-575V? Should the plug be hardwired or overmolded? I think it would be less frustrating to just attach a plug that fits your shop versus having to cut off the manufactures plug, restrip the wire and then add the plug you need. Just my opinion.
