@ Toyota Maintenance. Thank you Professor Peter for today's lesson on how to change the high beam headlight bulbs on a 3rd Gen Toyota Prius. I've yet to have a bad fuse be the cause for my headlights not working. It's always been bulbs going bad. I've heard stories on how some cars are so badly designed where you have to take off the front wheels just to change the headlight bulbs. How sad. Hope you and your family stay safe and well.
Many times when one bulb burns out the other side may go soon after. Who knows how long the first bulb wasn’t working and the owner didn’t notice until the second one failed.
One of 2 small bulbs in the center console of my 2005 Scion XB had gone out. When I replaced it, the old good bulb refused to work with it, so I ended up replacing both. Wasn't expecting that.
Love your videos. Before putting back that long black plastic piece, could you have use a blow dryer to dry the foggy lamp area? Looking forward to your next videos.
Not sure why but I find your videos very relaxing. Maybe it’s the cars or maybe it’s your voice/accent (which I wonder where it’s from??) I have a 2016 4Runner ltd. great car. Everything I was looking for when I bought it. One thing I wish I could have would be the new apple car play head unit otherwise it’s the perfect car. I do most of the service myself. Have replaced brakes rotors and pads. Only used Toyota oem parts. Have around 81k km now. Owned it since 28k km. So far very reliable car.
Both high beams out at the same exact time?!? Hummmmm, 🤔 Good job checking the lamps themselves. My next item to check would have been the switch! 🕵🏼♀️
Lesson here is: Don't purchase opened packages. Somebody put their old burned out bulbs back in the package, brought them back for refund, stating they don't work. Clerk issues refund and puts package back on shelf. Wally World does that a LOT!

So my high beams are working but not my low beams. Fuses are not broken. Bulb works. So it's the relay right? Low beam relay? Blue box?
Can be changed the high beam with led?
perfect, thanks
I’d love to see you change a bulb on a Gen 2 Prius
Good find
Good job 👍
My 3rd generation 2012 has a right headlight that's fogged on the inside and that's from the coolant overheating and getting inside the lamp assembly
It's a damn Prius again!..
I've had both bulbs burn out simultaneously twice before. Rav . Montana.
Have same problem on 2017 Prius. No high beam. Power doesn’t come to connectors
Could you PLZ make a video on how to adjust 1st gen sequoia E-brake? Mine is very weak NO UA-cam VIDS.
Get a service manual. It will tell you to take half the car apart.
Where are you from? Your accent sounds like from slavic Europe :D
He's from Yugoslavia or serbia
Damn fuses
No, it's a damn Prius!
🤙🤙🤙🤙
