Thanks for sharing...and yes i love the sharpie paint pens i never tried the oil base ones...I have the water base kind...and only own the 2 pack metallics in gold and silver...i also purchase mines at Michael's and they are very expensive...☺

Can you use the pen inside of the molds instead of painting the outside gold?
I understand maybe not needing to dome the top.. but would we need to seal the paint on the sides with anything? Or maybe we could latex the back and do a flood coat to get both top and sides...🤔 I just wry it may ruin one like this by settling in the inner crevasses... Also I have uv top coat but I'm afraid it would peel away fm the epoxy lol.. let us know!! 🥰 And ty for the awesome tutorial!! These are gorgeous!!
I haven't had to seal any of molds.. so I'm not really sure. I also have not used uv top coat on anything.

The oil doesn’t mess with the resin?
I’m scared to use lol base markers but i may give it a shot

Usually all the oil paint lifts off when you demold but if some stays then I take alcohol and wipe it off.
Do u have to epoxy again after or does paint stay on
How long do you have to wait for the paint to dry before pouring resin in?
It usually dries pretty fast. I paint the mold and then mix my epoxy... usually that's enough time for the paint to dry.
Does the paint come off the final product if it's wet or cleaned
I haven't had that problem with my final product but I most made keychains.
Hi , does these pens work for jesmonite as well. Does it pick up the colour when painted on the mold?
I haven't used jesmonite so I can't really answer that. Yes, it does pick up the color when painted on the mold. That's how I usually do it now.

I have also painted with acrylic paints but not mica
How do you clean the paint off of the mold?
it comes of with the finished product... if there's still some leftover I usually take packing tape and clean it that way. Sometimes I also use warm water and soap.
