I'm so sad about that. Just watched it again through Final Cut and it went by smoothly there again. Idk why it did that, it came out so smooth from the software. I'll post how it was supposed to go on IG.
I was gonna say. I'm almost certain this mold (vest included) is based on the mansion scene in X-Men 2, the forest scene in X-Men: The Last Stand and the last scene in The Wolverine (when he gets the bone claws back). There's a separate Origins figure with the messy hair and the jacket, in fact.
@@julianliang3101 He has a coffee stain on the white background he uses for most of his reviews. He keeps mentioning it and pointing it out instead of cleaning it or replacing it. Some of us find it annoying. That's it.
The head swaps between the Logan figure and this one are awesome. Those head swaps you now have a end of movie Logan and Wolverine from the Wolverine movie where he goes to Japan. Specifically the funeral scene
Bone claws technically wouldn’t break “super easy” pound for pound bone is stronger than steel. Soooo🤓 ALSO IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS REVIEW FOR FOREVER(2 weeks-ish) also I like the bone claws
it looks just like Hugh Jackman! the only thing i think they could change that would really sell the look is if they made his eyebrows a little more arched
Swell review, as they all are. I can't believe it! Hasbro finally gave us a Wolverine figure! How long have we all waited for this? It's about time that Hasbro delivered! I am so tired of getting figure after figure of Odin, Heimdall, Quicksliver and Quake. Good job, Hasbro, for giving us the one character that all our collections desperately needed! Bravo!
I’m an Englishman myself, there’s a local collectors shop called InDemand Toys who got them in the other day. Pre-ordered immediately and delivered today.
Hey Shartimus, was rewatching X2 and I’m happy to say that his tank top isn’t missing sculpt, that’s how it is in the movie. An odd design for sure but hey, probably for some extra mutant flare!
This is the Wolverine I’ve always wanted too. I jumped on the pre-order in Feb so fast, I can’t wait for Amazon to ship it next month. And I too see it more as an X2 Wolverine than an X-Men Origins one.
Born in the 19th century in Canada in the late 1832 and armed with dangerous bone claws, James "Logan" Howlett set out fighting injustice as one of the most ultimate mutant of the X-Men, Wolverine😎🔥
I've had the "jacket" Wolverine for a few days now, and I'd say it's one of the best Marvel Legends I've handled in a while. The neutral headsculpt looks much more like Jackman than this version (the angry face isn't that accurate though).
So I rewatched X2 once I got this figure and I think you'd like to know that his tank top in the attack scene actually is accurate to the one here, it has much bolder ribbing on the center of the chest and back and more subdued ribbing on the sides. I thought it was lazy on Hasbro's part at first as well but that's actually how it looks in the movie so hats off to them for noticing something so small in an almost 20 year old film.
I ended up getting the other X-Men Origins Wolverine figure with the jacket. I was messing around with him for a bit until I had a great idea to put one of his alt heads on the default quantum suit figure and it looks beautiful. I also used the X-Force Wolverine hands for the hands on the quantum suit figure and it works pretty well
The pattern on the vest (4:46) is accurate to the one he wears in The Wolverine. But he wears black trousers in that film and not jeans so this figure is top half The Wolverine and bottom half X-Men Origins.
Sadly, I can't find this on Amazon. Just the jacket one. I love the jacket, but hate the Origins hair. I'd like to get both, so I can use this head on the jacket body.
If you look for it theres a 2005ish line of i believe like 7-8 inch Gi Joe figures that came with dog tags on a small dog tag type chain, called Gi Joe Sigma 6 series That would look great on him i believe
The one without the jacket has better upper body articulation and you might be able to find a cheap biker style jacket on ebay. I would like to have all the available head sculpts so might pick up the biker jacket one also just for the heads.
it's a hair and everything just makes me think of X3 instead of Wolverine Origins. In Origins he has thicker hair. I mean this can easily be a X2 version as well. But I just remember X3 Logan has more vertical hair in a sense where X2 his hair is wider. They are very similar so I could be wrong
Great review. Whenever the Logan with his jacket arrives please compare home to this and check if you can swap the fist hands without the claws between them.
Great video! Im a big fan of yours! Is this available already? I checked amazon but some of xmen figures you recently reviewed are meant to be released in November they say.
The ribs on the tank top are supposed to do that look at movie references, the tank tops he wears are super expensive and have that style. He wears them in x2 also. I only know because I wanted to buy one. :)
I love that we are getting so many cool figures but seriously I’m so desperate in wait for years now. Can we please all pressure Hasbro to re make Incredible Hulk Abomination into a BAF or BAF size sold at like $30 or so? I still my original one but would really like one in scale with MCU hulk given he is technically supposed to be the same hulk from Incredible Hulk. People may have not liked that Abomination but I still love that look. Let’s be honest would you rather another green muscle bound giant with a fish face look cool on screen? Or the bone showing mutated beast we got on screen? I personally think he has og look beat as far as being intimidating. Hasbro please give us an Incredible Hulk Abomination remake!>
mine should be shipping to me on the 1st and the deadpool/negasonic 2-pack should be shipping out soon too. I can't wait to do some pictures with these figures.
There’s a little mistake on your video Shartimus, it is the X Men 2 movie figure, not the one from origins, that vertion comes with the jacket he wears on the movie
I'm sure this Hugh jackman is from the wolverine. It's from the final fight against silver samurai that's why you get bone and metal claws. The brown jacket one is from origins
Just realized after watching the movie, this one is based on his appearance in The Wolverine, not X-Men Origins: Wolverine. He wears the same wife beater with detail in the front and back but not the sides
So we're getting two from Origins, I wonder if we'll get one from The Wolverine (could have a sword or two, idk, maybe shirtless maybe tank top) or Days of Future Past
Marvel Legends fans: we would like the figures to look up, double jointed elbows on female figures and have better upward movement on ankles. Hasbro: you got the right idea, but the wrong b*tch (gives us weird ball jointed heads, ignores the double jointed elbow request and still has inconsistent ankles).
To be 100 percent honest I think I might pass on this Wolverine I love Wolverine I’m a grown adult collector 25 to be exact and I have a nice collection of boxed and unboxed figures but to me this has a lot of joints and it makes this figure look cheap compared to the early X-men Wolverine figures back in the early 2000s
I’m sorry I hate to sound ungrateful cause I really like these figures and I want them to do well but Jesus dude the loss of that neck hinge is killing me. It just seems like something that didn’t have to be cut. Like i could understand if they were adding articulation to other parts of the figure but this is just like any movie marvel legends. The only extra addition is the pinless arms but did that really cut into the budget THAT much. Honestly what’s the point of having an amazing 3d face scan head sculpt if I can’t pose it the way I know I could have if this came out last year.
10:11 Seems like something happened with the stop motion there.
