- Having a squat rack to hold the weight is nice but having a full power rack with a lat pull down tower is even better! Fully Wooden DIY!

I'm surprised with some of the negative reviews. I was so impressed with the ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxMwYg0MOXR4M-oGeyBsNSYe1aPOUoRH6D cage that I got the lat pulldown attachment that goes with it. It is equally outstanding. I don't have one complaint other than putting it together is a job. The instructions and packaging of the parts are very well designed and organized. Also, I stripped and damaged the pull down cable the first day, admitting it was my stupid fault, and they quickly replaced it at no charge. I'm 6'5, 280lbs and fit in the cage just fine. Glenn B
When I was 16 my dad made me my first bench/ station. He made it out of metal. Beautiful work man. Well done
With all these people making tutorials, your build definitely looks the best and most practical. Great work
Mad respect for lap and dado joints alone 💪 👏🏻 👏🏻 👏🏻
Yeah this was way better and definitely worth the added effort. The cable attachment is such a sick idea too!
Man the the best DIY squat rack video i seen so far... very well built... tnx for sharing your art!
genius work on the design
Man... that's impressive. I went with the buff dudes design, but WOW... that is fantastic! I love it!
Definitely one of best racks built so far I seen since quarantine started.. definitely have to put some workout videos to see how it holds and work ... overall great job 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽
Jonathan Garcia I appreciate this brotha
Jonathan Garcia part 2 is up!
I work with steel myself, but it's great to see that you have such confidence in your wood.
Every man should have confidence in his wood.
I'm very happy with this video. Finally someone ballsy enough to make a proper joint. I would like to see one of those Japanese three way joints though. Or maybe some mortise and tenon joints that go through to the other side.
Very cool man. I made the buff dudes style rack back in march after failing to get a steel one when they all sold out everywhere. I have been very impressed with the capabilities of wooden racks. Mine is more stable than my buddies 800-1000$ rep fitness cage and I am just as confident in it's abilities. It barely wobbles even doing 450 lb rack pulls. I love you're design though, especially with the cable tower you put on there. If I was to build another I would totally steal your design lol.
That is a work of art mate. Well done
best one ive seen so far. definitely gonna do this
David M appreciate this man!
You really just did that. Incredible skill
SUPER impressive. I’d love to see the lat pull down machine in action.
great design, great work thanks
Way 2 go Eddy! Now that's some woodwork craftsmanship brother! 👍🏽👍🏽😎
What a work of art
that is so cool, awesome build and design!
Please post video 2 soon with your commentary on how it performs!! I want to try this build!!
Awesome video, could you maka a video about the measurements and stuff like that. That would help me extremly💪and where you show how you squat in this
Great job looking good
Excellent brah hope the second part of your project
Very impressive bro. Good work man.
Awesome build, would’ve loved if you did a voiceover instead of quick cuts with music. Just future reference but overall good content bro
lil boof pack I agree but I almost didn’t even get this on film as I was on a time crunch. This was the best I could do. Sorry man and thanks
Yes.
I had to turn the music off.
@@_Apeflex can you maybe upload schematics of it or the measurements and stuff like that?
Amazing! Good job it's very well done!
When you have time to provide the materials needed and where you obtained it would be greatly appreciative!! Nice work!
Your local hardware store. Has the wood the screws the metal things that go wherr the wood joins up. Lol
Seems simple enough build mate. Very well done
Best looking homemade rack I seen thus far
VIOLENT BREED appreciate it man
Cool project
Awesome job bro !
I had no idea I was a building snob until I watched this. My apologies. Excellent work. 👍👍
I'ld love to see how it's in use and how stable it is. I think the ending part was pretty fast. Show me your proud work. :3 It looks awesome this far ...
Great build. I highly recommend buying some used Bowflex pulleys. I bought the same pulleys from Home Depot and then upgraded to the Bowflex ones. It's night and day. I got the idea from another DIY power rack video.
I've seen a lot of homemade Racks in this quarantine but this one is legit... Nice build and woodworking skills ...
This was awesome thanks you!
GREAT JOB!
Would you be able to offer some sort of blue print? Of all of the products you used and dimensions, etc?
I built a rack similar but a lot more heavy duty. Will do a voice over on mine then in the very near future.
@@LairdRoss please do it soon I need to build one very soon
@@okram7592 will do it tonight then mate :)
Laird Ross yoo could i also potentially get those blue prints?
emil bonomi did u get plans u can share. Please
saludos, muy bueno,Eddy, siempre pensé,si era posible estos equipos en madera,y ya veo q sí se puede!!! Buen trabajo,y espero surjan otras cosas sobre esto.
Ok I need the plans and cut list I got work to do ... great build
With this setup anything you feel like you're missing out on vs a commercial gym? Even after gyms open up here I'm questioning if worth going back with strict time limits, having to book a time slot etc in place.
Nice man nice job!!!!!
Make concrete weights! Go fully-fledged Fred Flintstone! Very nice build. I'm not really handy but I think I'll give it a go. I would probably insert the pull-up bar THROUGH the 4 X 4 and attach it on the outside. This will lessen the strain on the screws inside the wood because the load would be supported by the wood itself instead of the screws.
Woww 😮👍👍 Nice work, a few hours to build this wood rak or a few days? If you Can post exactly all you needs to build this rak and all dimensions, i think i ll try to build one 😄🙈🌈 ☀️ very motivated thank you // cheers from Switzerland
Sweet build!
Now I just need an empty garage, a barbells, and some money.
How did you come up with the layout? Also, do you have any building plans you’re willing to share?
What are all the measurements for the rack? I love the rack and would like to build one like that myself!
Very nice.. well done ...
Respekt!!! Really good job. Aber ne of the best DIY Rack what I see here on UA-cam 💪
Hi. Do you know where I can find some video that explain how to built a nice homemade storage (in wood) for hexagonal dumbells? Thanks
I looked through the comments to see if it was already asked, but didn't see it... How much did you spend on this build? Awesome work brother.
Nice work. So many DIY racks being posted these days. From DIY Guru's steel rack to DIY Creators to Buff Dudes to this. All different designs with different price points. Rack styles with different benefits. I'm a fan of the Buff Dudes design that also uses 4x4 and they recently loaded it to over 1000lbs to test max loading. It didn't even blink. The DIY Guru steel one requires welding skill but it is nice looking rack. I would need to still buy the bar and weights which could be pretty pricey.
Make concrete weights! Go fully-fledged Fred Flintstone!
Looks great! 💪🏼👍🏽Can I get your squat rack measurements?
Excellent!
very impressive build
Brian A. Wright thanks
Damn! this is awesome! I just made my version of your "$50 dollar rack", and you came out with this "rack with roids"! This just make me wants to make my own version. Excellent job!
Saul Siordia haha it’s all good man. The $50 Dollar version is fine! I was just bored and needed something more durable
Good work
this is an awesome project! This is maybe a rude question, but could i get the Blueprints of this project?
It’s a DIY project. Nothing rude about your question
Making them wooden gains!🖒👏
Great work !! 👏🏻 do u have a building plan?
👁👁Fantastic Work👍👏👏👏Best Congrat.🤝❗❗❗
Great Work! do you have the measurements?
Awesome video. It would be cool if you added a materials list somewhere but it looks like you did your homework building this rack.
What is the highest load is possible , on bar, and on pulley
many thanks in advanced
Is a part 2 coming, with instructions on how to build it?
Dope! 👏💯
Love that gym fever, corona ain't holding no one down.....
Corona who? Lol the lazy find excuses. We find ways
Hey do you have the project of it? I want to build mine.
And congratulations for ur excellent job ☺️
Eddy was wondering if you can put your plans for your squat rack you build I want to build my self one please an thanks Danny
What's the tune in this? So funky... build is good too, obviously
awesome build man...very clean and straight forward. can you please share the measurements?
Came here to ask exactly this, with a parts/materials list
Man brother if you live in Texas I'll pay you to make and i'll pick up. On the Real! Gr8 stuff.
D Augustine thanks brotha!
Muy bueno!!
The brother is talented
what are you using for your poles?
Thank you very much brother.for showing people how to build a powers Rack. 👍 humans karma law brother.
Very artist..
Compliment.. Beautiful video and super like by Warmachine bodybuilding of garage Gym italy
What are the metal poles for by the lat pull???
Could you please provide the measures of this? If already available where are they?
would you tell me the measures you used?
Hey, awesome rack. The only thing I worry about is how much weight the pulleys can take before they pull out. I wonder because I have built one of these before and the hook I used to attach the pulleys was looking sketchy. Anyway, good job man.
How come white people always use the word sketchy?
Hey how much you spent on supplies???
did that 10" saw cut all the way thru..
Nice one. Can you share the measurements please?
Great rack. Who is the song and artist?
How would you enhance for a 7’0 person?
Did you design it yourself or did you get the plans from somewhere else? Either way can you provide them?
i designed it
I think About 98% of the people watching this would agree that This video would b 100X better if u included the supplies/plan/blueprint u used. 🤷🏽♂️
@to_mm_ei_alves / @eddy what's the hole spacing for the pegs? Estimating every 4"?
bro you have all wood measure plan ?
If you don’t mind me asking what was the total price on the build ?
Ill guess around 200 dollars.
How much should a 150 lb man bench?
Do you Have plans for the build
What kind of wood is this? Pine?
Would had been cool to see the pulley system in action
Any possible plans on this build so we can replicate?
what are the dimensions of the bars?
while the video was great! is there anyway we can get the material list and equipment required to make this? i have no skills in carpentry ! thank you
Did you use 4x4’s ?
How long will last ? Not too long
