WOW! Their singing voices are anything but Old People! The spirit of their youth really shines. I love their style!
While the Beatles and the British Invasion often headline the written accounts of the 60s, the contributions of San Francisco to rock and the music scene today are just as formative, important, but seem to be at times discounted by some.
How amazing for these 4 to be able to at age 70-something say - with pride and justification; "We were there, part of the actual sound that created the vibe of The Haight, and made that street corner the legend that it is today."
Wow! Thank you so much for this story. I am inspired!!
Hey CBS, Thank you for introducing me to these AMAZING musicians! WOW!
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THIS!!!!!!! Looking forward to tour information; I hope they come to New England!
What a story!! Incredible women!!
So Cool. I was born in Seattle in 1960, I think I had heard of them.
THE LIVERBIRDS,the first female all girl rock band from ENGLAND,they toured all over ENGLAND AND EUROPE in the 1960s, from 1963 through 1968 AND released albums and singles, they were good also
I’m shocked at how good they sound, tbh. I guess true talent endured though, and don’t sleep on the fact that they hadn’t spent years shredding their vocal cords so they should in all actuality be pretty fresh vocally.
Still alive and kickin' after 50 years!!!
You go Baby.
Groovy Baby! Rock on! \m/
They are Amazing 🙂👍👍☮☮
Another band was pyewacket and wildflower
They did end up with their name on THE BAND t shirt The Band, Sons of Champlain , and Ace of Cups , pretty cool shirt
Awesome stuff!
this band has the worst name I’ve ever heard, but they’ll always have
hippie integrity.
How awesome!
AMAZING!!
Okay... contraversial. I'm from Liverpool and grew up through the time that The Beatles became huge. I preferred Farron's Flamingoes Olocal Liverpool band) and a few years later... The Ace of Cups. Wonderful in every way.
Yeah, It Feels Good Baby! My Saxophone Loves You!!!
True riot girls ! Chocolate watch band blue cheer
Look upon them, the creatures responsible for all today's problems
Seek help

And what practical purpose is served by your three comments on here? No, these particular women are not responsible for all of today's problems, and taking impolite shots at their age is classless and pointless....though I am sure that you amused yourself, you demonstrate your lack of a fully developed cerebellum to the rest of the world....nice work?

I think David might have some mental issues.
