    I agree about not getting fixated on a space or gap. Wait for the right case/box to put in that spot, it'll be worth it.
    It's an issue with every new hire I train, they get focused on that empty spot and try to make the very next case work there, no matter what it is.

    I’ve been working at a sobeys rsc as a selector for about 4 months I was already doing pretty I’ve just started making tra and just last week picked the most cases from my entire warehouse and still from watching these videos find a lot of information that helps I went to work yesterday after watching a few and could see the difference in the quality of my pallet and I’ve probably watched about 6-7 videos so far and not a single thing this guy has said has been misinformation I’ve been able to think of everything he’s said and it has made complete sense I can definitely say if you work as a order selector DEFINITELY subscribe

    Wish we had wrap machines , feels like a constant battle keeping up with time when we have to wrap and get a new load and new pallets here at PFG.

      We've had them for around 10 years now. Definitely worth it

    My second week 100 %.
    All I'm doing is putting the strong boxes on my corner and the long boxes facing towards the middle, small boxes in the middle. I sleep good, I lift weights, I eat my carbs and protein.

    I have to hit 90% this week or I’m cooked I’ve been binge watching your videos trying to incorporate it but it’s hard my body getting used to moving fast not touching things twice and not being in the way I really don’t lose this job

      I hate hearing this , 90 % , you should be given more time. You're very capable

    While I agree that those Arizona Ice-T's are poor base, my warehouse has them positioned at the beginning of the assignment, to be a base.
    The reasoning is that constantly throwing them (or any heavier cases) over chest height will eventually blow out your shoulders/back, etc.
    We have an awful lot of those Injuries every year.

      @@TheWarehouseSeries so did you switch to the dry goods section full time? Or are you just coming in for overtime, because I know you said you was on the perishable side ? Just curious

    How do you build your pallets so perfect and still get 100% on production time. You're good

    I read that you selected for 15 years. How badly has it broken down your body? Ie shoulder, back, knee problems etc

    • @TheWarehouseSeries
      @TheWarehouseSeries  2 роки тому

      I still select now but just on overtime. I started when I was 19 so that helped but I have lower back pain which really never goes away , still have groin pain that comes and goes. Other than those 2 I slammed fingers, bumping head off rack, scratched cornea twice, cuts from nails, broken glass etc. Rolled ankle I probably could think of more

    Could you do a video of how you used to stack when you were at your top speed when you "cared a bit less" about your stack. I would like to see the before and after

      @@TheWarehouseSeries they are similar to the oj we have. 11 block and it comes up as a base. I am not stacking on those, build smart knowing you still have to pick 11 of them

    Do you get in-between time from dropping at wrap machine to get labels and pallets? If so how much time?

    • @TheWarehouseSeries
      @TheWarehouseSeries  3 роки тому +2

      We do. It depends on where you drop your pallets off at in warehouse. Probably around a minute
