Just hit my 90 days and I made the union! I have been over 100% and number 1 in cases for 3 weeks straight! Thank you for all you videos, the fact that you have continued to post content even after getting out of the warehouse is greatly appreciated and I know it helped me and I hope others find your channel as well! I tell all the new guys that come in to check it out if they have no experience in selecting
Yeah that's the thing that was making me crazy this week at work. We have a whole bunch of new guys starting who simply do not understand the concept of not parking in the middle of the aisle while you're leafing through your stickers. There should be a slot on the downtime sheet where you can just put "new people".
I am dreading this coming week. Apparently our case count is going to go from an average of 70000 to upwards of 89000 with a high of 93,000 on Thursday nights...uuggh.
@@datominium what are you selecting i work in a grocery perishable warehouse on average we are lifting 30,000 to 40,000 lbs accumulative a night average of 85,000-95,000 cases a night!
Warehouse for grocery chain here. Department of mostly heavy items of drinks, chemistry, cat and dog food. Different system. No cases, but items. One item, lets's say, can have 04 cases, then next item can have 08 or 16 cases, depends on the order we have in barcode mobile app. Most cases are 04 to 12 kilograms average. Eight hour shift, that's 450 minutes. My tempo is 400 items in 400 minutes with 50 minutes that goes for other maneuvers. 30 minute break after approx 240 items. 40 hours a week is work time. Around 10 kilometers per shift. My paycheck 241€ above minimum wage. Only few of us work that way, others do 250 items for minimum wage witch is 750€. There are days when I do 450 to 500 items as so 300 to 350 items per shift, depends on the opportunity, and strategy, of course.
